@Riot - Nex, Essence of Life

A spirit dwells within each and every living creature. These spirits are tied together to one being, Nex. Nex manipulates the natural universe with every simple motion she makes. Though she did not spawn all life, it is to her, a child. She is not a loving mother, however. Nex believes that she was once the bearer of a massive soul that was split into infinite fractions of itself, filling the vessels in Runeterra. She abhors the idea that anything beside her can have a spirit.

"Your soul is meaningless, what matters is who it truly belongs to."

Primary Role : Mage Secondary Role : Marksman

Passive - Split - The souls that belong to Nex give her power as she grows closer to them. For each champion near her, Nex gains bonus mana regeneration. Additionally, Nex begins the game with an item called "Anchor" which can be placed anywhere on the map besides either team's base. After any amount of kills or assists, Nex builds stacks of "Harvest" which can be channeled into the anchor to grant her bonus attributes. Any attribute can be slightly enhanced per stack, but only one attribute can be upgraded per game. (Say you choose movement speed, you will get around 1 movement speed per 1 stack of Harvest). If an enemy kills Nex while she channels at the Anchor, she will no longer be able to use it in that game.

Q - Pull - Nex tries to retrieve the soul residing in her enemy, and a moment after her next auto attack, she will pull the enemy closer to her, and any enemies in their path, dealing bonus magic damage to any enemies affected. This ability can be cancelled by moving, or by enemy cc.

W - Essence - Nex loses herself in the souls she has taken back, becoming untargetable for a second. After that second, She will explode in a direction, and be slowed after the explosion. Enemies hit by the blast are dealt magic damage.

E - Tear - Nex still attempts to free her soul from her enemies body. She rips at a target's soul and deals bonus magic damage for their missing health. The lower the enemy's health is, the lower the cooldown is after this ability is used.

R - Take - Nex succeeds momentarily at regaining the strength of her mass soul. She instantly removes AD and AP from every enemy champion, no matter the distance, and gains a portion of it for 7 seconds. The enemies regain their stats before she loses her's.

Appearance : She is very ghostly and quiet, except for when using her ultimate. Honestly she can look like a wisp and I'd accept that happily. She needs to be white and transparent for sure.

Other notes :

  • When she casts her ultimate, enemies souls are visibly pulled out and fly to her in a nice cinematic fashion.
  • Either played as a mid laner or an ADC.
  • Untargetable is because she will be squishy and her damage is reliant on having the time to proc everything.
  • Glass cannon-y champion.
  • The explosion on w is more of a propulsion in a direction of her choosing.
  • That's all I can think of!

Thanks for reading guys! Hope you enjoyed!!

As always, the @Riot is just for fun!

Nice aesthetic for a champion for sure! I like wispy things so seems like a nice idea, even though Dota2 did it and I feel like it fits in more to their Universe. Here's my opinion:

Passive - I like gaining manareq per champs nearby, although the range would have to be quite long since unlike Irelia with her passive that functions in a similar fashion, Nex doesn't WANT to be close to enemy champions ^^' That being said, it would encourage the champion to be designed around teamfights, with big mana costs on the abilities(meaning laning phase would be a bitch unless that issue is adressed otherwise) The second part of the passive I need to ask someting about first: Can you update the anchor several times a game? Meaning you start getting Harvest and after the laning phase ends you go to your anchor and update your (insert chosen stat), which I assume takes a while to do, since you want people to interrupt you doing it, and then you have lets say 5 movement speed more. Can you then get 10 more kills and before you go take nashor later in the game come back and update your stats again? or is it just once a game in general?

Q - If you could iterate on what you imagine this to look like I might be able to review it better. As of now I imagine you activate it, then you autoattack something, then a moment after you auto attack, lets say a minion, you start pulling in everything in a line between you and the minon, essentially like a thresh hook but you supress yourself? it's confusing to me ^^'

W - essentially it is a fizz hop, right? it functions like a fizz hop or a kassadin ult that it is to quickly engage or disengage. the way that the dmg aoe is applied where she ends up rather than where she started from, also gives me the feeling of a single target nuke oriented jump in and do dmg like fizz or kassa kinda champ. These kind of champs have a way of quickly getting back out or surviving long enough to use their escape again. Fizz is designed to do this by E/W-ing in and E/W-ing out again. Shaco has his ult to confuse the enemy. Kassadin has his passive magic resist and his ult is on a low cd. The fact, that she is slowed as well would mean that the dmg is significant and a good initiation tool....the only problem is the rest of the champion design is built around a squishy mage-y playstyle soo...it's at an awkward spot

E - A very strong execute like ability, which suits a glasscannon mage that has high mana costs. The CD reduction aspect feels a little too strong, but it depends on mana cost and starting CD. Otherwise a nice skill idea.

R - I REALLY like this skill! It reminds me most of the utility of a lulu ult + Soraka ult! Basically it exhausts the entire enemy team at once, and then buffs oneself by a lot. As long as the exhaust isnt longer than about 1-1,5 seconds, it could even be a balanced Skill! On paper a global exhaust sounds rediculous, but in a team fight, a Nex player would have to really time when they use the ult since the initiation dmg from like a malphite wont be the main dmg income, but the dmg of for example a lux/brand/oriana ult! A well timed Nex ult will negate a big chunk of that dmg! On the other side you gain that dmg for a few seconds! 7 Seconds is waay too long but I could imagine 2 - maaaybe 3 secs since the idea would be: Perfectly time hitting Nex's ult at the same time as a massive dmging ult like orianna's, then ult all the extra ap you get and blow up their carry with a W -> E Combo! You stopped them from getting a huge dmg advantage and blew up a carry in the process! It's a REALLY nice skill idea!

Final Thoughts: Overall I cannot see her working out as an ADC AT ALL. It's always nice to be able to use champs in more than one Role, but it is hard to design one that way. That being said I think you should take the idea you had with the Passive and run with it: A high mana cost, single target nuker. All you need is a better way to get back out. I might suggest the CD of the W to be reduced when using E on a low health target! Not resetting the CD but lowering it by enough to where if you position slightly bad, you could pop ur ult and survive long enough to W back out! As of now the Q is the only thing that is too out of place for me to give it more thought, sorry ^^'

Good job overall! Keep it up! Hope to hear your thoughts on what I wrote soon! ^^
