A champion that Riot Needs.

I say we make a gargoyle champion.

Now i can guess what you're thinking, we have one with Galio. Well, not too long ago Galio was deleted and replaced with a Malphite Shen combination, which was coincidentally named Galio.

Although its sad to think about old Galio being deleted, we have to continue on with the present and continue his legacy. I believe the best way to do that is for a real Gargoyle to be added to league of legends.

If you can't tell im bashing the rework, since in no way does he fit the theme of old Galio. In fact, new Galio isn't even a god damn gargoyle when you compare him to stories/myths/legends or even statues in real life. He's just a shiny fucking rock who fights, another basic tank. Nothing unique about it.

I was not aware there was another tank with a magic damage shield, AoE taunt, and near global AoE knockup + damage reduction

Alright. But I do like the new Galio... a ton more than the old one. Even in theme. Sure, he's not a 'Gargoyle', but honestly that wasn't working so well for him anyway. I'm a little sad to see anti-mage effects being removed left and right (Veigar's enemy AP scaling, Galio's heavy MR scaling, etc.) but I can't say that I'm sorry Galio was reworked. I don't want a new 'proper' Galio in league. I wouldn't play him. Though I would love Gargoyles--maybe in a gamemode. That could be fun. Even another Gargoyle champion could be alright. But no 'old Galio'.
