What I am thinking is that how GP had his little "rework", they could do the same for Orianna ,where she is human and has different spells ballerina related or something close to that. They could have like Zilean revive her into what she was before. Just my thoughts :3 (i'm not sure if i'm in the right board)
That's...alright, I'll bite (I came back to this sentence to assure you Im not trying to be mean, just clarifying why I don't think this should happen). The justification for the Gangplank change was that his lore and his in-game were on opposing ends of the spectrum, where his lore was super serious while he was in-game a caricature of a pirate. So sure some people felt like Riot was changing their champion by making him her serious but GP was sort of always that way. What you're proposing is to completely change a champion's identity into some new thing based loosely on her lore but not much else. What makes her a champion? Is the Ball still there? Will this basically be a new Dancer Champion with Ori's name slapped on it? These are all valid questions to consider.
tl;dr The Ball is an important part of playing Orianna and a large part of what most Ori players enjoy and she has to keep it, but ir wouldn't make much sense for human Ori to have it.
I would go for a living Ori skin. but not a rework.
