[Champion Concept] Vaega, The Lost Child

LORE: Somewhere deep in an Ionian forest, Vaega lived as a proud member of the Evani. An elusive tribe only spoken of in whispers. Feared for their black magic and being rumored to have to ability to transcend the divide between the world of the living, and that of the dead. Vaega was no one in her tribe, but strived to be more. She trained as hard as she could, mediating and learning to understand the dived between the worlds. She believed deep in her soul that one day, she could transcend. And she did, but to great consequences. As she transcended for the first time she felt a power not before seen by her tribe, and broke a hole in the divide letting in the dead that spread a decay that would kill half her tribe, but mostly, anger their god. The Kindred.

Eventually, the decay began to take her, and she prayed to her God to be forgiven, and to be spared. She prayed so hard for her God's presence, and she got it. One night, on the eve of her 17th birthday the Kindred appeared to her and Vaega felt truly blessed, until the Kindred expressed that they wished to pull her to the other side.

Vaega panicked, fleeing only to be chased by the Kindred. She ran miles despite her sickly state. But the Kindred was relentless, always just behind her no matter how far, or how fast she ran. Soon she collapsed. She laid their desperately on the ground, seconds from death as the Kindred approached her, Lamb reaching out her hand. But just before she could take it, she felt the unknown power deep within her again, and suddenly the Kindred was gone. She was saved. But deep inside, she could feel death still inside of her. A sinking feeling. A hopelessness. An emptiness.There she knew, she had reached true transcended.

Now, she is doomed to walk the line between life and death, spreading decay were ever she goes, the death inside her willing her to kill. She wishes to do Kindred's bidding for them, but to be a stronger God, and to never give the mercy she received.

Gameplay

Vaega is hybrid damage pseudo tank who is rewarded highly for thinking a few steps ahead of her opponent. She is a great team fighter with a tricky lane phase. She works best top or jungle, but has mid lane potential. I can best describe her as a "Jump Scare" champion, reliant in the late game on being unseen by the enemy in order to pop out and make picks, or initiate team fights, as her kill set up is highly telegraphed. (Think Fiddlesticks, Rengar, Evelyn ect.)

PASSIVE Transcended Darkness Vaega walks the line between life and death. Every third auto attack or spell against Vaega deals reduced damage and gives Vaega stacking resistances. (This stacks up to two times per enemy)

Q Toil and Decay Active: Vaega's next basic attack is empowered. Striking three times (25% damage for consecutive strikes, but applying on hit effects) and marking them with toil. This mark slows the enemy and leaves a trail of decay on and behind them. Additionally, if the enemy is below 50% hp, or cannot see Vaega, Vaega leaps toward them.

**W ** In Their Wake Passive: Killing a unit cause them to explode into a small pool of decay. If the unit is a champion the explosion slows and marks enemies hit with toil.

Active: Vaega detonates all patches of decay on the map, damaging and slowing enemies hit. If two or more enemy champions are hit, all units hit are feared briefly.

E The Shadow of Death Active: Vaega grows her shadow in a target direction and reduces the vision of enemies caught in it. When the shadow grows to full size, or when reactivated, it damages all enemies still in it, and pulls them half way in.

R Mourning Glory Active: Vaega feels an unknown power inside her, and becomes obsessed with the deaths of her enemies. She goes into a mad dash, becoming immune to all cc except suppression and leaving a trail of decay behind her. Each enemy she passes through is feared and grants her a chance to reactivate the ability and change directions. At the end of her dash, the power exits her, dealing AoE damage around her and detonation all patches of decay.
