Itemization idea and concept.

Okay so, I've been thinking about this for a while now. Lately our game that we love and play and spend most of our lives on has been in and out of balance when it comes to champs and items. We've been from on-hit tank Fizz to Tankerina/Tankali and tank yi to now yasuo being build slightly tanky. It feels as if every champ that has decent base stats can build tanky and still do loads of damage and have decent game presence. I personally blame this on the itemization at the moment. It may not just be armor/mr stacking but health stacking is also too good at the moment in my opinion. I'm not saying bring the assassin meta back but when assassins can get away with their damage without having to worry about their own positioning cause I.E. "tank" builds it seems there may be a bit of a balance prob.

This isn't really a rant though, just an idea I had. What if items were limited to classes? Lets say bruisers/divers had BC and deadmans plate available for purchase in-game but assassin and adc's didn't. Lets say mages were allowed lichbane but when you are support sona it wasn't available for purchase. (Just an example don't kill me sona mains o.O) Lets say assassins were allowed ghostblade and duskblade but ADC'S weren't.

I'm not sure if you guys get my point, but basically make items independent for each role. I understand it would cut some flexibility out but it would not be hard to balance numbers to make thing fair for each role. Each role could have offensive and defensive items of their own but nothing crazy like for instance Tankali.

This is just something that has been on my mind as of late and I felt like sharing my thoughts with you guys.
