[Champion concept] Oyyorn, ancient watcher of the rift.
Before I say anything else : Artwork is not of my creation and I do not claim it is at all.
-Oyyorn, ancient caretaker of the rift.-
"Time has long since passed, but I have remained, to watch and protect." -Oyyorn
-Description-
Oyyorn is a tank ability power champion that revolves around protecting his allies even if it means he would perish. With a wide array of abilities to ensure the survival of his allies all the while dishing out damage, Oyyorn can be merged into many team compositions and roles, bringing much needed utility and damage to the team.
Attack damage : 2/10 Health : 8/10 Ability power : 5/10 Difficulty : 8/10
-Abilities-
Passive "Watcher's Enlightenment" : Over a certain amount of time Oyyorn's staff charges, every spell casted in the area reduces the cool down by one second. His next auto attack on an enemy or allied champion does on hit effects, but this cannot be proced on minions.
Enemy : Slows the enemy champion and does magic damage. Ally : Grants a movement speed buff that rapidly decays and removes slows affecting them (obviously does no health damage).
Q "Ancient sight" : Raising his staff into the sky it emits a light over an area causing all invisible traps and champions to be revealed. Enemies in the area also take magic damage as the area is revealed. Note : This is a channeling ability and if reactivated cuts the time short.
W "Force of the Ancients" : Passive : Over time your W gains charges for a maximum of three.
Active : Every time you press your Q you strike out with your staff, enemies hit take magic damage and are knocked back a short distance.
E "Crippling age" : Passive : Over time your age saps your movement speed, once fully sapped you cannot regain it until activated.
Active : You slam your staff into the ground causing all enemies hit to take magic damage and are slowed. This slow comes from your drained movement speed, which upon activation brings your movement speed back to its normal level. Note : To regain movement speed an enemy champion must be hit.
R "Life force" : You break your staff in two, causing large magic damage to be dealt in an area. Upon activation the blast pushes all enemy champions out of it, a magical barrier that can be broken down over time by champion attacks rises at the edge of the radius. The barrier increases in health based off of a percentage of your health. Note : This ult cannot be flashed over by enemy champions or dashed through, however allied champions can walk freely through it and the first time they walk through it they gain a movement speed buff.
-Lore-
His early life is shrouded in mystery, some say he was born into an ancient church of monks who taught them his ways, while others believe his magic to be a result of divine influence from gods that most can only dream of. However one thing above all else is certain, Oyyorn has lived many lives, and at the same time seen to many cut short by the work of foul creatures and evil marauders. Dedicating his remaining days to hunting down evil and restoring balance he has found himself in the League of legends for many years now, looking over those that fight within its grounds and aiding all who would seek peace and balance.
-Strengths and weaknesses and how they work with roles-
Strengths : Oyyorn excels in top and support. His utility and abilities work well with a duo lane to save his allies while having damage to back up utility makes him an appropriate pick for top lane. Many abilities like "Life force" and his passive aid allies in a duo but this comes at a price, if an ally is to dependent on Oyyorn to keep them alive he will often fall behind ruling out his potential damage, and pushing him aside for the later game. However, top lane is perfect for this, he can use "Crippling Age" and "Force of the Ancients" to deal damage to his opponents and gain an edge in lane, and as the game progresses into late game he can find perfect scenarios to save team mates and use more of his utility side whilst laning phase was more depending on his offensive side.
Weaknesses : Oyyorn is slow and his damage is not as bursty as most mages these weaknesses combined make him a weak pick for jungle and mid lane.
