His win rate is ~48% and his play rate is abysmal. In fact, I literally cannot remember the last time I saw Ziggs in a match.

Nope, even she's been called a toxic and broken top laner on the forums and boards before. The only reason people have sympathy for her is because she's on the weaker side of the power spectrum, and the buggier side of the glitch spectrum.

She occupies a similar space to Teemo in the top lane, so she's fairly hated up there.

She occupies the space of a ranged harass top-laner who means to make your laning phase hell.

Teemo Quinn Gnar primarily fill this space in top lane. Hence, they're hated. There's more to the list, but this is just the first three that usually pop into people's heads now. Historically, there's also been Kayle Ryze Urgot Kennen . They've all been loathed in the top lane, and many top lane mains have called for their guttings because they simply didn't want to face them.

Casters joke about the "Ziggs Era" back when Ziggs was picked to perma-wave clear and ensure late game scaling of his team.

Insane buffs to pushing and huge nerfs to wave clearing and direct nerfs to Ziggs saw him thrown under the bus as a legitimate strategy.

Ziggs as a strong stable pick causes game time to increase, therefor he isn't reinforced since the goal is to reduce the ability for teams to stall and force stagnant games where the other team has to make insane plays to attempt to break the anti-siege.

I love my Ziggs and long range wave clear champions, game's far more bash faces until someone nose bleeds now.

I think they should change Gnars taunt/joke to have him making fun of all the champions in the game (too many) that have goggles. Like does Tristana even need goggles? She shoots a cannon right next to her face, shouldn't she have earmuffs instead?
