Zeifos - the Living Metal



Foreword: Welcome Summoner. This is my 7th Champion Concept, (probably i will bring my other suggestions to the NA-Boards) My Champion has no ultimate, but can swap with his R between 3 different states he already got at level 1. My Champion has 9 Spells, 1 Passive and his transforming R which also has a passive effect.



Lore

Alpha.03-23x. Thats the projectname of the test. The goal of this test was to create an immortal and teachable destruction weapon. It uses living Metal... Teachable, changeable, destruction weapon...

The research lasted long. Researchers from Zaun searched for a way to control the living metal using an artificial intelligence. As it was believed that they had found a way, you tested them to the prototypes Alpha.03-23x. First, the tests were successful, but suddenly changed the structure of Alpha.03-23x. The metal turned black.

Everyone who came to close him was absorbed by the metal. No one who did research in this laboratory should survive. Each absorbed victims made Alpha.03-23x grow. Not only physically but also his intelligence grew, and thus its ability to adapt.

As Alpha.03-23x left the lab, he turned around and looked into the surveillance camera. He was was again metallic gray ... It said:,, I am Zeifos. And there'll never be someone controlling me ... "

Appearance:

Zeifos is a metallic entity, and as he is, he is a big grey substance. He is close as tall as Mordekaiser (maybe a little bit taller?) As he has 3 different states:

  • Axe
  • Lance
  • Bow and adapt his apperance to those 3 states That exactly means, that his Armor would change from heavy armor --> medium armor --> light armor through the 3 states axe --> lance --> bow.


Abilitys:

Note _ Zeifos has seriosly to move- while Dance of Death is active he cannot use basic attack or spells _

Tip:

** To play with 'Zeifos'**:

  • While "adapting" runs you're not in a position to carry out interactions and be very vulnerable. Transform yourself only if you have free space!
  • Use your various spells by the game situation you adapt.

** Against Zeifos play **:

  • Be careful when Zeifos morphs! During this time he is very vulnerable!
  • Make sure in what form Zeifos is, to avoid damage from the distance.

-Passive is good, but it is redundant to put the ulti's active effect in there. -Q axe's is fine, as it is basically a range Maokai Q, but the secondary damage doesn't scale up quite enough to be appreciated on more AD builds. -Q spear's base damage is way too high, with ranged 164 damage and armor shred at level 1. The scaling AD ratio is a good thing to have to improve a character's scaling in the late game, but it changes too drastically, generally, the biggest difference you will want to have from 1 to 5 is about .2. Normalizing the base values should help to fix this issue. -For Q bow, I'm going to assume that the base values you listed for it is over the full duration, in which case the early game base damage is fine, but it doesn't scale enough. There isn't really a reason to give this one a scaling AD ratio. -W Axe is a good attack reset for AOE damage, but needs a small bit of base damage so it is still useful when not stacking AD. -W Spear's base damage doesn't scale high enough, the secondary damage should probably scale as well. -W bow is a decent concept, but will need to have a very slow travel time if you want to really catch any projectiles with it. You should also put a lid on how high the damage can go so it doesn't just absorb a bunch of stuff in the middle of a fight and turn into an aoe 1 shot kill. Base damage needs to scale up as well -E Axe another attack reset, that's 2 for a single stance. base damage doesn't scale the way it needs to. It is redundent to have any more than 1 attack reset on a given character, and they can become very imbalanced if you are not careful. At level 2 when combined with the W Axe, you can clip attack animations to autoattack 3 times in quick succession, dealing 70+77+124 almost instantly. -E Spear aoe effect over a duration to all enemies around, the ability itself is not flawed, but doesn't make very much sense with what you would expect from a spearman, would work better on the axe kit. -E Bow is a stacking dot debuff on autoattacks. The base damage is a bit high for level 1 as it can scale out of control in elongated combat. Needs a base damage scale on it. -R Basically just teleport, but on a significantly shorter cooldown. At the high end, it costs 10 Metal, considering you get 1 every 10 seconds and theoretically, you can get 1 more every 10 seconds from just chain evolving. Basically, it is a global teleport on a 50 second cooldown, and available at lv 1 on around a 110 second cooldown. I probably only need to point you in the direction of Alpha Twisted Fate vs Live Twisted Fate to show you what happens when you give that to a champion. On initial addition to the game, his global teleport was a normal ability on a 90/75/60/45/30 second cooldown, whereas currently on live to balance it, it is now 180/150/120 with a significant range restriction.

The main problem I am seeing is that each stance's given abilities do not match with the theme of the weapon they are being added to. Axe is 2 attack resets and a ranged maokai Q, his spear is a snipe, a pull, and an aoe dot, and the bow is a vel'koz lazer, projectile absorber, and a twitch passive. Another big issue is that the strength and appeal of transforming champions is the seamless transition and flow that comes from going between the different stances, not the fall back and turn into another champion after a few seconds.
