Why do we have to go to League of Legends Wiki to read champion abilities?
Either that, or we have to go into practice tool and hover over the ability to read its details. We should be able to read these stats in the client.

Worst part is they could literally get a fucking intern to write the code to parse the wiki for all this information and update the client with it, and he'd have it done by lunch. For free. There's literally no excuse.
It'd be fucking nice for sure.
So many champions have things that aren't explained in the limited descriptions of the ability videos in the client. It's honestly mind boggling.
For example for Syndra's ultimate, the way it is presented in the client makes it seem like only the three spheres around her are thrown, when in reality it's any created spheres as well.
Nor, IIRC, does it explain what Irelia's marks do (refund cooldown if Q is used on marked target)
Honestly it just needs a big update overall. Some of the descriptions are flat out wrong. Especially the ones that list ultimates as doing "massive damage".
I think it would be very beneficial to update the videos and descriptions with more in depth info like scalings, damage type, damage per each level, etc.
Why do we have to use a third party site to see in game character models, expecially for skins?
Why do we have to use a third party site for an actually function and detailed match history.
Why do we have to use a third party site to read detailed patch notes for both live and pbe severs before the change is live.
The answer is its stupid and easier than riot actually implementing useful things into the game.
You can do it when viewing champion info?
Ya know... client-> collection ->champions->champion
and if you dont play on the english version, its not that uncommon that in client stats are just wrong/showed buggy.
its a perfect picture of how riot presents their game online. lazy and sloppy. BUT as long as lol reddit keeps sucking riots d, they are happy and wont change a thing.
i mean look, even skinspotlights dont exist. there are youtube channels that have nothing to do with riot, that present riots money making in a better way than riot does. that is how much riot cares.
This please rito.
Well when they released this client, during about a month skill descriptions were those given in game with ratios etc...but they removed that idk why (maybe a full a bugged scripts revelations problem)
You can? Collection > Champions > Learn More > Boom, abilities
I never needed that in my life. Those stats what i can read about ingame or at my collection is enough. When i like a champ or i want to counter someone, or i just want a useful pick in my team these stats won't change a thing. Never heard that it would be a problem for anyone and im playing for 5 years...
Well we had one. Then Riot's spaghetti code struck and they removed it.
Because their client is poorly designed, and too cheap to get any intelligent use out of it.

For the same reason we have to use Google to find anything on these Boards, I guess. Everything is eternally beta here - the Boards, the client itself, and all of the game modes.
Remember, it's a small indie company.
It's the same for many games to have 3rd party websites with a lot of information you cannot find on the developer's client/website.
Dont get me wrong, Riot has an awful client for many other reasons, but this isnt one of them.
