Ability Concept for a Ground-Based Tanky Champion

After watching the John Cena champion spotlight (Youtube like where?), I wanted to make a concept kit for a champion that uses the shield passive in the video, as it's a pretty damn ingenious passive. So, I took a little time and came up with concept abilities for a utility tank that plays in the top lane. Sort of like Nautilus.

Passive: Gains a shield while moving or attacking. If the shield is broken, gains a small move speed boost for a few seconds. After the move speed ends, the shield goes on a short cooldown before it can be charged again.

Q: Passively deal bonus damage based on his shield. When activated above ground, removes his shield and heals for a small amount based on his shield, disabling the passive on his shield for a short period of time. When activated below ground, he jumps out of the gound, knocking enemies back, and if he has a shield, gains the movespeed bonus from his passive.

W: While above ground, creates an area of unstable land at target for a short period of time, dealing damage to all enemies in the area. While below ground, he jumps out of the ground and creates the area of unstable land around him that follows him. Does not stun enemies who were not previously afflicted with Curse of the Groundsmen. After a short period of time, any champions still in the zone are afflicted by Curse of the Groundsmen, causing them to take bonus damage from him for a period of time.

E: Descends into the ground, becoming invisible and untargetable by his enemies, and slightly alters the effects of his abilities. After a while, or the ability is reactivated, he jumps out of the ground, knocking back all enemies, and stunning any enemy afflicted with Curse of the Groundsmen.

R: Above Ground: When activated, causes all enemies around [champ] to become afflicted with Curse of the Groundsmen. For a period of time after activation, ally attacks on enemies afflicted with Curse of the Groundsmen proc the bonus damage. Below Ground: When activated, quickly moves to a target location (enemies can see this move). Both of the abilities have seperate cooldown timers, but they can only be cast a short time after the other one is casted.

Other than the abilities, I have nothing else for the champion currently; no name, values, sketches, nothing. I did base the idea off of Eeno's from The Legend Of Zelda (Those creatures in that one room of Snowhead in Majora's Mask that go into the ground and through snowballs at you). He would be a champ with somewhat ranged autos (think about 200-250 range) and would be one with the ground. Possible interactions would be changing his appearance based on the terrain that he is currently on (grassy look in bush, dirty look on dirt/grass, muddy look in river). I'll continue to work on other stuff for him in time (name, lore, values) and post it with a link here when I have more :D
