The illustration is nice, but it's not my type of skin. Things I'm missing are representations of his chain-dreadlocks and a more original look for the head. Since Thresh is supposed to be an evil champ, I'd try something like an Oni / japanese demon. I really dont want another ninja look champ.

Wouldn't this be East Hook thresh or Shogun Thresh? Because shinigami means death god. I'm personally not seeing death god in this.

I digress though and must say that I love the idea and it would definitely be cool to have.

i have to agree with Onegarion here. Shinigami literally means "Death God" so if he looked say like a reaper or something a bit more death related then i would say keep the name. But here he looks like a Samurai or a Shogun of some sort.

I get what you mean, and 100% agree that the proposed name doesn't fit with the visual design too much, aside from small details. But I think the artist's idea behind the naming was that shinigami ensure that people die when they're supposed to and take their souls to the after life. Thresh kills and harvests souls, so it's kinda a little similar, and the name relates. So like, Thresh himself is kinda like a shinigami or something. I dunno though, I'm no expert on this one.

Void Fizz was a fan skin idea, as well as, I believe, Surprise Party Fiddlesticks.

They also have a Dragon Master Swain in the making if I remember correctly, which is also a fan skin idea.

I love the concept with his abilities and everything but i would love it if we could change him because its not thresh, try making him more threshy in appearance. You're trying to hard to make him look like a different person, keep the back but work on the face and the cloak. :P I want to have this kin when it come out remember this Summoner Riot.

If you wanna see a real Shinigami, well, go watch more Deathnote and make one skin for real, 'cause this isnt looking like a Shinigami at all. :)

Shinigami don't exist in japanese culture.

The theme of the Shinigami came to Japan with the modern era , as japanes hadn't the concept of a psychopomp (it sounds lewd, but it isn't). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychopomp

Basically, they just don't have a character like Charon or the Valkyrs.
