I'm sure everyone here hates it when they get a champ they love to play in ARAM, only for someone on your team or the other team to dodge. So why not make it to when someone dodges, they get into another ARAM and get the same champion that they dodged with? Riot, please! :D
There is one problem I can see with this idea.
People could still dodge games when their team mates get shitty champions. With your system, they would keep whatever good champ they happen to have and now you can use the system to dodge until their teammates get good champs as well.
So your suggestion could end up causing more dodges rather then solving them.
If that's possible, then I'd say that's a brilliant way to deal with abusing dodge function. While it's not intended to be used, it's still morally acceptable in case an emergency came up and we had to abandon it even if it means receiving some sort of consequence.
However, as things stand it's been used to avoid playing champions we're assigned, even though we walk in knowingly and accepting it to happen. I see this as a potential solution to the abuse, since I'm sure those who dodged because of real life issues wouldn't be concerned with this at all, and that's the only case when dodge should be "morally" allowed to be used.
Losing a champ you love to play has nothing to do with it, that's just salt in the wound, the problem is the dodges no matter what you get. I'm seeing like 2 or 3 dodges for every aram game I play, its getting ridicules.
I'm fine with what you propose but also consider why people dodge in the first place.
I never dodge myself so I don't know why other people do, but, could it have anything to do with getting settled up with garbage champs from Rito's weekly free rotation perhaps? How about getting a champ you like to play on the rift but you know they suck in aram but have no way to exclude them from your champion pool? It might also keep people from having to make aram only accounts if we had some way to customize our champion pool a bit more, rather then to just keep dumping champions into it.
Too bad Riot doesn't give a shit about aram. Feels that way at least.
