What I believe the honor system needs

Hello my name is Teneren and I am a toxic player. I have many banned accounts and I keep trying harder and harder to stop. It usually happens when I get to plat 5 promos and encounter some of the worst players in league. There seem to be this group of bronze 5 level players in plat 5, and I'm assuming they were boosted and are on their way back down the ladder. Matchmaking grabs them up for people's promotions, because that's just how it works. In theory Riot's matchmaking is great, but things like boosting and smurfing kind of make the matchmaking not really work the way it is intended.

Anyway, this new honor system is helping me a bit by giving me a REAL reason to just avoid saying these negative things. The main aspect is the part where you lose access to loot, which has actually been around for a while now. The only problem is that we have no idea what our progress is toward getting loot privileges back. I have remained silent for 10 + games which is VERY difficult for me, just for it to continue to not give me loot. So I was wondering if you guys could just put a little progress bar in there, so that we know how well we are doing. This way we can tell when we are being too negative. I word it this way because I have literally been banned before for telling people how to improve. I have also been banned for saying "kys" in one game once. It would be nice to know when I just had a successfully non-toxic game, or when I just barely crossed that line between helping a player learn, and "telling them what they did wrong" which apparently is wrong for w/e reason.

If you guys want to make the game this strict then I guess it's up to you as the creators. I only ask that you let us know when we screw up, or when we are improving, by putting a little progress bar. Also progress toward next honor level would be great. I have yet to meet a single person with level 3 honor so it would be nice for those people to know how close they are. Thanks for reading.

i just wanna know why is it hard not to be toxic?

why do you feel by flaming and raging at people is gonna be anything productive?

This is not at all relevant to my suggestion. As I said I'm trying to improve, but would like to see the progress to help me in this process. Since you asked though, it's an anger problem driven by impulse. I can explain to you the chain reaction that happens every time. I sit there and I KNOW that a teammate is just awful. So I try to tell them what they should do, because if they would listen to me, we would have a chance. Somehow people view this as being toxic. Then 2 or more people in the game begin to attack me, calling me salty or toxic or tilted or w/e. This tilts me. Having people harass you for trying to teach an awful player how to do something right is IMO toxic. FYI I do not call them awful in game. Most of the time I'm as nice as possible about it.

Something so simple as "could you please help me ward dragon, as I cannot keep it warded at all times" turns into 1 person afk, another running down mid, another telling me I am awful and I should kill myself and i'm a useless piece of shit and my parents should have had an abortion. So basically to answer your question, I'm not actually toxic to begin with in my opinion, but in the opinion of the average league player. This causes them to rage or w/e else, which then causes me to. Then I become toxic.

There have been games where I would ask my team to ward baron. My teammates don't ward baron. I have made it all the way up to plat 4, from placements, without 1 teammate warding baron once. So then the enemy takes baron and I tell them what I just told you. "why do enemies keep baron warded constantly while I get every person on this planet who doesn't ward baron?". I suppose that is toxic. Sorry but I mean it is true. Everything I say is a fact. I guess people don't want to hear the truth. I mean they could have avoided it by warding the damn thing once after I asked POLITELY 6 times lol.

Another thing you have to realize is a MASSIVE flaw in the league of legends reporting system. I say something slightly negative about someone, but not too bad. They lose their mind and tell me to kill myself and say like 10 racist things, 10 suicide-related things, just really dig in. All 9 of them. They bully, harass, say some of the worst stuff I have ever heard in my life. Since all 9 of the trolls teamed up on me, whether i'm a troll or not is irrelevant. They 9x report me, and I then get banned for that one thing I said that was slightly negative in the beginning. Meanwhile I 1x report each of them. Their disgusting horrible chat logs aren't even taken into review. This is a flaw. People can say w/e they want, this is legit a MASSIVE flaw. One guy could say "stfu" and 9 people can sit there and tell him all these sickening things that they pretty much have to have mental disorders to even come up with this stuff, and he gets banned for saying "stfu" and they are able to just keep playing. People saying shit like that shouldn't even be able to report. That's just wrong.

The sad part though, is that most people won't read any of this, let alone begin to understand it. They will see that I have been banned repeatedly and will instantly label me and down-vote me. Because they are the real trolls. This whole community is so twisted, everything is backwards. It's pretty sad.

{quoted} All 9 of them. They 9x report me, and I then get banned for that one thing I said that was slightly negative in the beginning. Meanwhile I 1x report each of them.

That sounds really unlikely to me. Besides you have to get reported multiple times to get punished, which I suppose means you get matched up with similiar people again and again.

Back to the main point:

Giving a direct progess would make it easy to just say "I am gonna pretend to be nice for X games" and return to your old mindset, whereas an unkown progress would force you to change how you handle the situation fundamentally.

i have played this game since end of season 2---- i yet to see people afk cuz u asked for someone to place a ward.

and toxicity is met with equal or greater toxicity ... just wanna put that out there.

and if your teammates are awful they are match with you meaning ( there are exceptions ) similar mmr/skill level/ranks

the issue you have is not using chat... just stop using it... and its not about what others do its about what you do

im glad you are trying to improve but its a maturity thing...
