Since annie is bringing her bear to life, it should disappear from her hands after casting it. I've noticed that in her new skin, the bear remains in her hand after casting Tibbers.

She throws the bear in that cinematic too.
Come to think of it, why not just make a new casting animation to have her throw it? Would require work, but i think it can be done without hurting her cast time.
The bear is not the teddy bear lol. The bear is trapped inside the teddy bear. SO when she ults she literally only releases tibbers from his cage lol. Yea Annie is a badass
she gains 1 movement speed
From a clarity perspective, this would help enemy players know if Tibbers is currently walking about the battlefield, and didn't happen to see Annie ult. Then you don't suddenly have a Molten shield-empowered bear running out of a bush somewhere to take you by surprise.

I always thought that she should throw her bear. I think it should be like Corki's Q. You can see where the AoE blast will be and have time to run away from it if you're fast enough. In exchange for the added counterplay, make Tibbers' appearance always stun, regardless of the state of her passive.

This would be a good idea but the fact that Annie constantly asks if anyone has see her bear timbers indicates that the one she's holding and the one she summons aren't the same.
Here, allow me to make this a bit more clear as to why she doesn't lose the bear A. Her animation when ulting does not have her throw/drop the bear (clearly) B. Her lore refers to a shadow bear, not a stuffed one. Personally, I believe that Annie had the stuffed bear before getting the shadow bear, she could have then used the stuffed one as a voodoo doll, I guess you could put it. C. If Annie did happen to lose her stuffed bear when using her ult, that would mean that there would need to be a cast time to the ultimate, which would be quite the nerf to her.
EDIT : Not entirely knowledgeable on Annie's lore for B. I assume it is correct
And then if Tibbers times out instead of being killed, he should just return to her hand instead of dying in the same way

It would be cool, but I think it'd require a lot of work to get that one little detail in the game when they can focus on something else. I don't see Riot doing that anytime in the future.
It would be cool if zed's shurikens do that too. While his q is on cd they disappear from his back.

my thought has always been that when she casts tibbers (which already has a small delay anyways) she should throw her teddy bear to where she ults

I always thought that tibbers was just transformed into the teddy bear but wasnt able to go back to his original form unless annie released him via chucking him up into the enemy team.

This would be a nice touch but in the lore Tibbers is really a shadow creature thingy that she tamed and sealed inside of the stuffed bear (maybe Tibbers wasn't originally a bear at all but took the shape of it's prison). So the Tibbers stuffed animal is not the actual bear that she summons. It is just a container for the monster Annie has locked inside.
