Loot Gifting

I feel as if players with skin/champion shards respectively in his or her loot should be able to gift the shards to players. As an example my friend asked me if I lost a bet to buy him muarder Ashe, I happened to have that skin shard in my loot. I did loose the bet but I feel like it would just be easier and more simple to give him the skinshard. I think if we ask enough we can get riot to implement a system of gifting skin shards to friends. I think that you could pay orange/blue essence to gift the shard and the friend it was sent to will use their essence to upgrade it.
