Skills Passive: Protective Behavior: Basiti gains X/Y/Z Magic resist for each allied champion within X yards. Ever since the Xerath rework and lore retcon, it didn't make sense that he was "ascended". Nasus is an ascended, part Jackal, resembling Anubis. Renekton is ascended, part crocodile, resembling Sobek. Azir is ascended, part falcon, resembling Ra. Xerath is ascended, no animal features, just lightning and the "sarcophagus". Why is he so much different from the other ascended? I would imagine an ascended Xerath to look something more like this, . A Shuriman support is a cool idea

Her respawn animation ought to be a cat walking into the fountain then transforming into Basiti. Or a rat appears and she comes down and smites it with fury.

Taunt animation could be she pulls out a rat, plays with it then eats it.

I kind of want something more "hunter cat" in her. I thought maybe her passive could be that she senses stealthed champions better when not in a bush, and when in a bush, her vision increases (basically an ability that allows her to track the enemy team better).

After all, she was a protector and war goddess (depicted with a lioness head) in her original carnation. I see her as a lioness, stalking and hunting her prey with might and fury. However I am not sure how that would work with her kit. Feel free to debate on it. I guess where I'm getting at is that I'd like to see an ability that makes you feel like you're being hunted by her, and when she finds you, you're in deep trouble because you know the rest of her war party is behind her.

If the health regen scales it might be too much, considering you can just go in and slice some faces and heal yourself and your ally. Maybe have it a flat and scale based on level, though that might have been your intention. If so, please disregard.

Her ulti feels too powerful. It's like a mashup of Maokai's and Janna's ulti (minus the knockback and replacing damage reduction with healing). You'd never be able to kill her or her allies unless you had something that reduces healing. I think it might not be that good, because it'd either be too OP or you'd have to nerf the numbers into oblivion which renders her R useless.

Maybe instead of constant healing, she does an initial healing burst then increases the HP regen of her and her allies around her by a good amount that diminishes over time. Perhaps her ulti can also increases their MR/AMR in her AOE so long as she can maintain the upkeep. Walking item 3105 . Or instead of the MR/AMR, for all enemies caught in it, they are slowed? Ooh, that could be a fun teamfight changer.

Or! Keep the HoT for your allies and put a DoT on enemies, that might work too. Then you can build a item 3116 for the slow for your ulti. Better synergy.

Unsure about the mana regen for the W passive, since it sounds like you'll want a item 3070 on her anyway, might be redundant. I can see item 3003 + item 3091 on her. Jfc save us.

Feel free to debate on any of this, I'm not familiar with numbers (AP/AD ratios or cooldowns) enough. I just like gameplay, heh.

I would change this, tacked on stats are a little meh. Also I don't really see her as a tank champ so the MR and Armor feel a little out of place. Maybe on the E she could heal a nearby ally for the damage she deals. But I love the concept and would love to see another ascended.

She's like a sand version of Janna.
