Last I heard they were working on some tech to make his body move in a certain way that they couldn't do with what they had. Since he's a sky lizard and stuff.
Every time someone asks, they move his release back a year, look for him in 2086
They're doing some difficult stuff with him, but, according to the wiki, are expecting him to release in early 2016.
