The Future of the Eternal Nightmare

I feel like, while other champs do need a lot of love and care with GU and VU or a full relaunch, Nocturne should be added to the list of champs to be updated game play and visual/background. I feel like as great as he still is, he isn't at a point that he could be with some minor alterations. His visuals are better than some of the classics ( , and others that are often mentioned in these discussions). I also feel that while the recent texture update is very nice and well needed compared to his original texture, it seems a bit to thin to me personally ( my opinion solely). I am just wanting to give my own ideas of what might be the perfect change that could make him last a lot longer without the need for another update.

For his visuals and model I feel like his most recent splash at (beautiful by the way) doesn't really match him still he seems a lot more powerful and imposing and built physically a little more. it might be the point of view that it is presented but that is how it seems to me I'm not saying make him into a like hulk but some more muscle definition mainly in the chest and forearms, might go a long way. Also the light effects in the face and chest area would be a very nice addition even a slight lighting in his primary muscular structure would give him an almost ethereal but still dark and imposing look while emphasizing his focal features that much more. his skins could also use a slight variation (aside from eternum) for their energy on the hands and the abilities, this is mostly needed in ravager and void, haunting and frozen terror have the alteration to the abilities but it seems as though the red energy waves that emanate from his hands are all the same across which while it is a nice universal similarity, it doesn't make a lot of visual sense for some of the skins. Also a change to his ability icons would be nice mostly for his ult since he has been updated away from having yellow in his appearance.

Another possible change that i think would be nice to tie him in a little more to the big book of champions, would be going a bit more into a possible tie to the shadow isles since he manifested in the twisted treeline according to his current back story , with the more prominent presence of the shadow isles i feel like he could be really well tied in to the lore of the black mist and all of the different things that have occurred on the harrowing and other such events. A possibility I thought of a is that nocturne was a former Summoner who had studied into shadow isles and in turn was granted with horrible nightmares after reading an odd tome that had he had not seen before in searching for lore, during one of these nightmares he died in shock and his soul had drifted to the shadow isles still burdened with the dark energy of the horrid dreams. When his soul arrives he is found by and is told that his fellow summoners had betrayed him and cursed him with the terrible dreams to end his study of the Shadow isles since it was a secret that needed to remain as such. Enraged and burdened with the nightmare energy that still resided in his soul, he broke down and seeing a chance offered him, he would take away the nightmare energy and in return the summoner would use it to fight for the shadow isles and take revenge on the summoners that had cursed him by turning their every thought and feeling into pure fear, and with that the dark being known as Nocturne was born, great blades grew from his forearms to fight and murder all that opposed him or the isles he now was aligned with. His face faded into blackness leaving only the cold and ghostly gaze that radiated with a faint blue green light. His legs turned into a black ethereal tail that would allow him to approach his victims in silence. He was now a being of pure darkness and emanated a black aura of fear from his entire being. Now he was Nocturne the Eternal Nightmare.

These are all ideas that I wanted to post during this time of updates on all of our favorite champs, not to push his change but to have something here for when his time does come in the future far as it may be.
