Rito please, do the same as you did with Rengar´s bonetooth neklace. Make a trinket from it, also you can lower stats to make it less OP but give us choice to get rid of Hexcore!
I like the idea of making it a Trinket, I back this up as a player who plays Viktor quite a bit.
...Or there can be 120AP-or-something items as upgrades from current Augments, so it won't be a waste of an item slot.
One problem I see in "Hex Core Trinkets" idea, is the number of Trinkets in the shop. Currently we have 4 Greater Trinkets, and Rengar has 3 Necklaces. Viktor would have, if I'm thinking it correctly, 12. This it the only problem for me though.
No thanks. Trinkets are lame. Viktor's augment is cool. Making it a trinket and removing its stats is a copout, and, as a guy who's grown accustomed to Vik's mid-game power spike, it would be an absolute gyp.
A trinket that gives you free stats doesn't seem like a good idea. Rengar's trinket works because he actually has to get kills for bonus effects.
