I find myself often trying to choose between which skin I want for a champion
. I can usually pin it down to about 2 or 3 but sometimes I just need to know how the skin will look in game. I use Lolking to see a 3d model but it's still not the same as seeing the skin out on the rift. I reckon it would be cool to have a mode where you can run around, seeing how a skin looks.

Skin spotlight videos on youtube also work. You can generally google something like "leblanc ravenborn skin" then go to videos tab and it will be among the first results (or search in youtube itself of course). You can see if the skins have been remade into HQ or not and how they look in game, as well as many of their spell animations/recall/emotes etc. That being said, the option you mention should exist nonetheless within the client's store. Not everyone can or will have access to the PBE.
