Hello everyone. Here is the design of my first Champion Anu'Khar. If you want to have a better view of the project. You can check it on my site. http://kohokurob.wix.com/the-gaming-fjord#!anukhar/c1bxy

Anu' khar the PlagueBearer :

Summary:

Type: Mage Tank / Lane: Top Concept: Few champion's gameplay rely on poison [Teemo, Singed, Cassiopea. If not taking in consideration dot ablilities] The main idea is a champion who try to constantly spread his poison, his infection to his enemies. This being his main mechanic, it is favoring a tanky role to resist in fights and manage to keep his infection spreading.

Graphic concept and Lore: -I really went with 3 basic words to describe the aspect of this champion: Plague / Undead / LizardMan

Here's the first drawing I made of it. To really put the basics.

I then dove into the Lore and Decided to take something completely new as it would not be attached to any existing Champion's Lore.

“During the first expedition of our patrol to the Fyrone's Flats. A tablet was found, which is apparently from the expertise of Lord Elgin, reporting the life of the new and mysterious League Champion whose name is, from this story, Anu' khar. The only incoherence is that this tablet seem to have been made during the Ancient times. I will leave the decisions concerning this discovery to your nobility.” -Tais Aldeï

-Translation of the tablet: One year has passed and even if our nation only shouts for blood and fights. It is necessary to pay homage to one of the two champions of the Arena who was took away from us by an unknown enemy... This is what the council gave us for explanation. But I am sure that they know more than what they make us think. One year ago, an entire troop of our army was annihilated, without reason! At the North-East of the flats. The wrathful council sent Anu'Khar our champion as a scout to bring us informations about this unfortunate event. But in three weeks, he didn't come back. It only was at the fourth week that an observator informed us of the return of the champion who wasn't coming back as a hero but as a wounded soldier. Some guards were sent to his help. The miserables! They just barely touched him but as soon as they did, they began to suffocate. They then fell on the dusty ground and in their agonies, enormous furuncles amassed on their skins, sealing their tragic fates. The council who was still righteous at the time, unwillingly exiled him of our lands in fear that the plague could spread. I couldn't really accept to know that we were sending one of our greatest champion to an almost certain death. I so followed him, unable to help this pour soul. His despaired mind thinked he could have been able to find help in the empire of Shurima. And as he was slowly dying, crawling in this arid desert, a phenomenal flow of energy stroke us both. Strangely this phenomenon only affected him and I saw with my own eyes his plague, like a monster of its own, take possession of him and kill him. But it only took few seconds for what seemed to me his cadaver raise and shout in rage his wrath. A shadowy silhouette appeared in front of this Undead and he lent him his hand. Anu' khar looked at his own right hand, now devastated by the plague. He then with his left hand, which didn't seemed to suffer from the infection, firmly grabbed the help that the shadow was handing him. I left quickly after, in shame of not being able to help him... There has been no sign of Anu' khar since then. And with his lost, the corruption started to spread in our nation.

-Zygon the disdained

“My master, at first, deceived me with his plague but he then was able to see my potential and he saved me from my curse. Lending me his helpful hand. I am impatiently waiting for his return.”

-Anu' khar the PlagueBearer

Note: I am sure some of you will ask why isn't there any clear explanations about this new nation! Living during the ancient times! On the Fyrone's Flats! Well like any Lore associating multiple champions. The lore is being unfolded throught the releases of the champions concerned by this Lore. And so I will unfold this Lore through 4 others champion's stories who will all taking place on the Fyrone's Flats.

After the Lore was done I had a bit clearer view of the aspect of Anu' kahr, an arena champion!

Stats:

http://i.imgur.com/Nsf46ha.png[/img]

Abilities:

-[Passive] : Pestilential touch Anu' khar's auto. Attack permit him to spread his plague two times to his enemies. If Anu' khar hit a target he just infected with on of his plague [Q ability] The infection will be reseted and will spread out to the nearby enemies in a range of 300. The enemies affected by this will only take half of the effect of the plague [exemple: The Annihilation mark will deal 12 (+20% AP) at level 1 to the secondary targets] Then if Anu' khar hit a secondary target affected by the plague, the range of spreading will be of 225. He can still hit the original target for a range of spreading of 300. He will then need to re-cast his infection on enemy to be able to spread it again.

-[Q] : Decline's marks Range: 625 Anu' khar unleash one of his plague on the targeted enemy. The infection will deal its effect over time and will disappear if not reseted.

**- Mark of Annihilation:** **Cooldown:** 7seconds

Anu' khar apply the Annihilation mark to an enemy that will deal 24/36/48/60/72 (+30% AP) per second and this for 3 seconds. If spread 1 times :(20% AP) / If spread 2 times :(10% AP) Mana Cost: 100/112,5/125/137,5/150

**- Mark of Pestilence:** **Cooldown:** 11seconds

Anu' khar apply the Pestilence mark to an enemy that will slow him for 42/44/46/48/50% during 3 seconds, the slow decays over time : lowered by 20÷9% each 0,5 second. If spread : Only reset the mark Mana Cost: 95/105/115/125/135

**- Mark of Famine:** **Cooldown:** 9seconds

Anu' khar apply the Famine mark to an enemy that will deal 65/115/165/215/265 (+40% AP) on impact and will then lower the armor and magic resistance of the enemy by 10/12,5/15/17,5/20% during 3 seconds. If spread : Only reset the Armor and Magic Resist. Debuff Mana Cost: 70/80/90/100/110

-[W] :** Enraged dash** Range: 300 Anu' khar dashes toward the cursor and gains a shield that absorbs incoming damage for 1,5 seconds. He can repeat this action for a maximum of 2 times but the efficiency of the shield will be lowered.

If the ability is not re-used after 3 seconds. An exponential cooldown will be set in function of the number of utilizations 5/10/15 seconds. Plus, a waiting time of 1second [not counting in the 3 seconds] is set between each utilizations.

        **1 Utilization :** 60/100/140/180/220 (80% Armor)
        **2 Utilization:** [60/100/140/180/220]÷1,5 (75% Armor)
        **3 Utilization:** [60/100/140/180/220]÷3 (70% Armor)

Mana Cost : 10/20/30/40/50 Mana Cost : 20/40/60/80/100 Mana Cost : 40/60/90/120/150

-[E] : Mephidast's Blessing Cooldown: 0seconds Permit Anu' khar to choose one of his mark. An utilization of this ability will put a cooldown of 3 seconds on the Q. But it also reduce the Mana cost of his marks [Q ability] by 10/12,5/15/17,5/20% per level of the ability.

When used. Switch from the already used mark to the next one. Thus allowing the player to quickly choose the mark he wants in an ergonomic way.

-[R] : Black plague Cooldown: 150/140/130seconds Mana Cost : 120 After a successful channeling of 1,5seconds, Anu' khar blink to the targeted location in a range of 800. After the blink, every enemy within a range of 140 around the targeted area are stun for 1,5 seconds. Plus a zone of a range of 400/500/600 (increasing for each level of the ability) is placed around the targeted location. Any adversary in this zone will take 55/120/185 (+30% AP) damage per second and will be slowed by a percentage of 40.

Notes : -If a plague is active on a target and that Anu' khar place a second one on this enemy. The active infection's duration will be directly lowered to 1second if it's not already under or equal to 1.

-The plague transmitted by the spreading effect of the passive is not considered as a spell and as such Item's effect concerning spells like Rylai's crystal scepter do not affect the targets of this plague.

-Concerning Visual effects. The duration of the Q ability should be shown on the targets. Plus, for Gameplay reasons. The original target of any plague as a more visible visual effect than the secondaries targets. In function of the number of utilizations, the graphism of the W ability should change [example: The shield could seem to deteriorate over the utilizations]. With each plague chosen [E ability] the color of Anu' khar's furuncles should change. Finally. The zone placed should seem to be living as its own, like a beating heart. There will be a pulsation for each second and it would show to the enemies the rhythm of the damage caused by this ultimate.

Gameplay: Compared to most of the champions. Anu'khar is opting for a “guerrilla” type of gameplay and plays on time rather than on a burst. And so, he's main occupation in lane is to farm and block the enemy from getting a free space while protecting himself of course. This consist in pure pressure.

His main tool to achieve this goal is his polyvalent Q ability Then his Passive permits him to farm without too much worrying and finally his W ability assures his escapes. Of course this tactic can be countered by an aggressive way of playing and in this case, The player will need to wait for the TeamFights phase to influence the game.

Now, it is defined that this champion is destined to a promising late game and this because of his Ultimate ability that will allow him to have a great impact on TeamFights. Like other champions possessing such ultimate ability (Amumu / FiddleSticks). All the difficulty resides in the placement and timing of the ability. And also like these other champions, his main goal during the Late Game is to bother the enemies as much as he can. Note that his role as a tank is not totally defined by his Ultimate ability but much more by how he can disturbs the movement of the enemy team and attracts its attention.

There is a possibility for this champion to be played in the jungle. His capacity to quickly clean camps and his Ultimate ability which gives him a good “engage” allow him to have a spot in this role of the game.

Not a bad concept but would definitely need to be tuned up. I don't want league to become the next World of Warcraft, and what I mean by that is I don't want the game to be too dumbed down that it allows for no actual fun. For instance, Warwick sounds like a great champion, but his mechanics are a joke. He has 0 skill shots, the potential for high damage output and sustain, and for what reason? Spice it up a little and make some of these skill shots. Instead of the passive being a spread I feel like your ult should spread your diseases in a radius to nearby enemy champions. Your passive could lower the duration on your abilities for the amount of time they are infected allowing you to have damage spikes and not just consistency.
