So I'm not the best at doing artwork but I just wanted to show you guys kind of what he looks like. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think and what abilities I should change. I really want some feedback on this guy because I think he's really different and sounds really fun.

Golbert, the helping hand.

Role: Tank. Lane: jungle / top. Basic attack: shortranged.

Base stats: HEALTH 573 (+82) HEALTH REGEN. 8.10 (+0.5) ARMOR 28.5 (+3) MAGIC RES. 32.1 (+1.25) ATTACK DAMAGE 61.32 (+3) ATTACK SPEED 0.665 (+5.3%)

ABILITIES

passive: Statued form. I think about different champion concepts all the time and I wanted to do a really unique champion that lost one of the most important things for a champion. That is: walking. Gobert is a statue, he can't walk! Instead he uses his mana called "hands". He can only have two stacks of hands and their cooldown is 3 seconds . He uses these to move around. If he has one or more hands he can press right click to send one of his hands flying as long as the range 500. When it lands it pulls Golbert with it. This is really powerful because he can flash over walls really easely but he can't do it all the time. If Golbert uses his hand on a wall it pulls him to the wall like a nautilus Q. This does not consume a hand making him able to move around in the jungle.

Q: Fistbump. This also brings me to his Q "fistbump". His Q lashes out one of his hands damaging a target for 5 / 45 / 85 / 125 / 165 dmg, kind of like Mega Gnars Q. This ability also costs one hand. This makes it difficult for Golbert to move around so freely. He has to choose if he wants to use his abilities or his movement.

W: Rock stomp. His W is "rock stomp". He jumps into the air and stomps into the ground damaging for 25 / 45 / 65 / 85 / 105 dmg and slowing enemies near him. If they are right under him he stuns them for 1.75 seconds. This ability costs no mana and has it's own cooldown 15 / 13 / 11 / 9 / 7.

E: And away! Golberts E is called "And away!". He throws an enemy into the air a short range damaging them on inpact for 10 / 40 / 80 / 120 / 140 dmg and slowing the enemies around the target. Golbert can also use this ability on his own hands! If he does this he gets pulled with it and it damages the enemies around it and slowing all of them. This ability also costs one hand.

R: Need a hand? Golberts ult is called "Need a hand?". It makes golbert able to weild four hands increasing his max stacks of hands to four instead of two. He has so much potential with this, he can either flash like crazy to get in or out of fights or he can Ult W heimerdinger his Q onto targets or he can throw the whole team into the turret. It's good in so many ways which sounds like such a funny ability. It also has it's own cooldown 100 / 80 / 60.

Fighting style: I want Golbert to be a jungler. His ganking starts with him jumping into the enemy throwing them back, when they come to close use your W to slow them and finish them with a Q. If you have your ult you can just spam your Q on them or keep throwing them back but it's very important to keep track of your hands because they still have a cooldown so you can't use them that much.

I also want Golbert to be a shortranged (kind of like thresh otherwise he can't autoattack at all probably) tank. His basic attack animation could be him just slashing his hand at you, again like thresh with his chain. But for him to be really tanky I thought that he could have a passive on his ult making him take 10% less damage for each hand that he doesnt have. This makes him able to take a bit more hits when he's out of arms and especially when he has his ult on, but this is just something I've thought about it's nothing necessary.

Lore and Characteristics

Lore: Long ago there existed a claymaker. He was the best in the world. Nobody could match his work and he was the only one who could make statues so strong that they lasted forever. But one day he got hold of something. A book telling him about something even he hadn't made. Golems. These creatures would do every command you wanted as long as you wrote it on a piece of paper and put it into them. So the claymaker thought of a brilliant plan. He made thousands if not millions of golems stretching as far as the eye could see. He wanted them to take over the world for him so that he could rule it and no evil could ever appear in Runeterra again. But when he was about to write his first command he realized that he had spent his whole life creating his army. He had so much requests, but so little time. They could take over the world but what difference did that make if he wasn't in it? So he wrote one single thing on one note and put it in one Golem. In his final breath he spoke to it. "Your name, is Golbert." and as the note landed in the Golem you could see but one word written on it. "LIVE".

Character: Golbert is a statue. He is as tall as a human and has two big stone hands tied to ropes hanging down the sides of his body. Golbert has lived longer than most other beings in Runeterra. His body is made of a stonetype that is almost impossible to break. If his arms made of rope breaks he just sits there waiting for someone to come and help him. He's too heavy for anyone to carry. He has a deep sad voice and his personality is kind of a bored one. He has lived for so long that he doesn't know what to do anymore. He mostly walks around whistling to himself, talking to birds or rocks (they are like his family). He has always walked around asking people what living MEANS. Most of them told him that being a good person and helping others is a great way of living, so thats what he does. He roams Runeterra helping people on his travels while he searches for the real meaning of life. Everybody knows of him, he is a legend. The living statue that walks accross the land searching for a meaning...

Taunts and jokes: > One of Golberts taunts could be him doing the trick where he pretends to take off one of his thumbs. His recall could be him pretending to spit in his hands, rubs them together, grabs his body and throws it into the air. He then lands safely in spawn. Different qoutes's he could have are "People say dying is hard, but living is a burden too!" "Rocks are the only ones I can relate to." "I've asked people what living is, and they've told me to help others, so that's what I do." " I don't like fighting, but people need my help!" And so on.

> He can also have different interactions with champions like: Braum Braum: "You have a big heart. Do I too?" Gnar Gnar: "You're even older than me. How is that possible?" Ekko Ekko: "Go back as much as you want, time is no obstacle for me." Heimerdinger Heimerdinger: " I've told you a thousand times Heimerdinger, It's just normal rock I'm made of!" Sion Sion: "What happened to you Sion! You never used to behave this way" Lucian Lucian: I've seen so many people go away Lucian. Don't waste your life on someone who is already lost."

Skins

Golberts skin could be named "Phoneprank Golbert" And he is a refrigerator. It's a refrence to the famous phoneprank "Is your refrigerator running? Well you better go catch it!" His arms could be wires and his hands electrical plugs. A taunt could be him opening his door and grabbing a soda which he tries to drink but realizes that he has no mouth and puts it in again. His recall could be him grabbing a phone and calling somebody who he says the prank to while he giggles and then runs away.

I think rock stomp should cost 2 hands, or prevent the consumption of hands (or prevent casting of his other abilities) until he lands again (assuming the hands remain intact throughout the ability's animation. Is the ult a passive that grants extra hands or does it grant extra max hands for a time after being cast? I don't think Golbert can really be played because his movement will be SO bad...

I love the lateral kind of creativity you have here though. I wish League allowed for a champion like Golbert, but I just don't think it does, at least at this time. This is, respectfully, a very entertaining and thought provoking concept.

My only issue with the kit is... if he can't move, won't his jungle speed be horrendous? Like, to begin with it'll take a long time to reach the Jungle, and then crossing camps will take a long time. I feel like he'd be pretty bad against counterjunglers too. I honestly see him more as a Support than a Jungler :o but maybe that's just me

Just a few initial thoughts. The form of movement he uses is really good but I think that to really specialize him for the jungle grabbing onto walls and the liike ought not to consume hand stacks because if they do his functionality as an early jungle is nearly eradicated because to be able to get from camp to camp will remove some of his damage early. Secondly, If his going to be a tank imo his base damages ought to be higher otherwise he'll fall off way to hard comparatively. Finally, I'm curious if you've considered what some of his base stats would be seeing as he is both melee and immobile to be able to be useful in the jungle he'll need to really take a beating early otherwise he'll be invaded on and destroyed.

Separate suggestions all together, what if "and away" could be casted on hands so that they hand would be thrown, cause some aoe damage and/or an aoe slw and then pull Golbert toward it. This would consume then hand and would be the primary way he would be forced to get around when not in his element (the jungle). When cast on a hand it will be thrown (sort of like a viktor e) in that direction and land and pult Golbert that ways.

Just a few thoughts.

CCOS Event: Share the love

Well, i see several problems with him.

  1. In team fights you will be pretty much immobile, because you need to use your hands to do damage and CC enemies.
  2. Fights against bruisers would be impossible, because you will use one hand to get in range, then anther to deal damage and then wait for another hard to respawn. During that that you will suffer constant damage, be CCed. You would make a punching bag out of yourself. This champ would work against squishy champs without mobility much better, though.
  3. Is he AP or AD? If he is AP, then without tanky items he would be worthless. If he is AD, then he could be quite good.
  4. I don't see as a top-liner, because most of other strong top-liners would counter him hard.
  5. That moving over walls might be a bit too OP.
  6. His ganking would be really bad, because to get into right position you might have to use 3 or even 4 hands, so you would have no hands for your abilities. Enemies like Riven would just love him.
