Sightstones and Control Wards

So, I've played Thresh quite a bit and recently got into the habit of buying Sightstone (yeah, I'm a pretty terrible player). However, later on in some games, I've noticed my inventory is sometimes full when I want to buy a Control Ward (and at that point, I can't clear out all of the enemy teams' wards with just a item 3364) So, I've come to propose an idea: what if you can use a charge from Sightstone (and, to an extent, Tracker's Knife) to transform an existing ward into a Control Ward by using a Sightsone charge on the existing ward (and using it on different types of wards would "upgrade" them, for example, using it on Ghost Poro could make it latch onto the enemy champion that triggered it, revealing them for a few seconds; Farsight Wards and Zombie Wards could be invisible, etc...)? The ward cap exists, and upgraded Sightstones have more charges than the 3 ward limit. And since we're on the topic of wards, would it be possible for the upgraded Sightstones to have cool effects like item 2301 wards granting vision of the person who destroyed the ward for a short time, item 2303 wards instantly becoming invisible item 2302 wards giving a small burst of MS to nearby allies (on some sort of CD) after existing for a while, and item 2045 having 5 charges (to deploy 3 regular wards and a Control Ward)? Again, I'm not much of a professional player, so I can't tell if this would be a good idea or not, just leaving this out here for everyone. :D

I didn't really read any of this. Mostly cause I'm sick and tired. I did however see part of it, and I'd like to suggest you corporate ingenious hunter rune into your build one way or another. It reduces the cooldown of your sweeper trinket, and coupled with a ruby sightstone, it has an insane uptime. You can clear for your whole team as 1 support with these 2 things, so you don't have to rely on your team as much for vision (cause lets be honest, nobody cares about warding.). As for the lack of space for pinks, that kind of sucks, but theres nothing we can do about that.

Reading this i don't agree with your suggestion as is i although control wards late need a fix. I suggest instead a keystone could be added to aid your team in the inspriation category something like the predator turning your boots into a control ward active maybe a visable one or just one with a decent lenth time or active after a set period of time. Cause while it isn't too bad controling late game vision since you dont need to keep widespread control only objective control if you have a game with two or even 3 invisable assassins like rengar top jungler eve twitch adc it can be hard to deal with mid to late if one gets fed and you have little to no control wards available.
