Champs before their reworks

As Warwick is making his way to the Fields of Justice a bit refreshed, I started thinking, how it would be pretty cool if we could play champs as their non-reworked forms, once a year or so... like URF or something like that. I think it would be an awesome concept for the veterans of LoL to re-play the older champs, that basically dont exist in their older forms, and for the newer players to know, what different champions were before. I know, it might a bit difficult to work out because many champions have had more than 1 rework but if this was possible... oh boy, would it be awesome. + it would be even more awesome if there it was in a costum game form, where You could choose, what champs You want to try out, and maybe even older maps...

one of the rotating game modes should be old school lol, the games the same as it was on season 3, old map, old sion, old fiora, AP YI OMG

People have been asking for that but the problem is that Riot has to effectively re-create the old champs- bugs, imbalances, and all- and then only release them temporarily during that game mode. And considering the effort it seems to take to make champs to begin with, it probably wouldn't be worth it in the end.
