[Concept]Champion Point Values

I had an idea today, why aren't Champion Point Values based on the difficulty of the champion? Wouldn't a champion that's harder to play require more time to improve your mechanics? For example, Heimerdinger would probably take longer to get comfortable with than lets say... Ashe ? At level 5, if the difficulty was different, you may not be able to say you're equally skilled with each. Maybe I'm overthinking this but I think it may help players feel like they're really at that champion level and would make the champion point system more unique.

Thoughts? Ideas? Haters?

Not regarding this specifically, but it's meaningless to suggest changes to a meaningless system. The grading system (and related mastery system) determines your mastery based on your KDA relative to the game's total KDA. It doesn't factor in anything else. This largely leaves certain roles and champions in the dark, as well as certain scenarios. For example, someone who has a KDA of 0/10/0 but was responsible for knocking down every structure in the game would receive a terrible grade.

My direct critique to the idea would be first off, how would you determine which champion is necessarily more difficult to play than another? And secondly, how would you scale that in correspondence with other factors? A champion might be very difficult to play in some circumstances but extremely effective regardless of skill in another.

I know the system is kind of meaningless, it's just a number, but idk, like I'm playing Katarina , I'm at level 4, but I feel like I belong in level 1, maybe 2? It's an example, I don't feel very skilled with the champions mechanics, yet I'm nearly capped? But maybe some of us want to feel progress with a progressive system, it's almost too easy as it is anyway.
