The Wicked Puppeteer

If you're here solely for my Champion idea, jump to the 2nd paragraph after this one.

So I don't know if anybody has seen the new Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer that was released a while ago, but man was it good! Now only bring this strange reference to back up my inspiration. I guess I might as well sum up the key factor (or at least for me) of the trailer. In the trailer, the background music is a slowed down, more creepy version of the song "There are no Strings on Me" from the Disney movie Pinocchio. This song was used amazingly in the trailer because the antagonist refers to The Avengers as puppets tangled in string. Now I didn't get the inspiration from the trailer completely, but it helped me re-kindle this idea I had for a character in the past.

My character is based around puppets as you could expect. He would act as a somewhat mix of a mage and a support character (still thinking over his base layout). I haven't really thought up special attributes for his attacks, but here are a few ideas I have...

Passive - His base stats change depending on what side of the map he's on (plan on his lore involving multiple personality disorder). This is a bit complicated to explain in text, but lemme try. Basically, depending on which side of the map he is on (that being the half with the blue Nexus or the Purple one), he would have varying perks. I haven't thought of anything concrete so maybe he could have more magic penetration on the blue side and more base attack on the purple side, it's really not confirmed on its effects and I hope this makes sense when you read it. (I don't even know if Riot Games can make this effect in -game... so (>_<)/. If you guys have any ideas of your own I'd love to hear them!)

Q - A kind of grapple attack similar to the one Thresh has. It could maybe add a snare effect... But that might be to overpowered

W - I was thinking some kind of attack that draws minion to him... or maybe so a large amount of damage to a minion, and switch it's allegiance (make a purple minion blue and vis versa) but I might be thinking to big again. (Or would that be a better Ult?)

E - An attack that deals damage dependent on the number of enemy minions/neutral monsters in the attack radius. If you can't tell I want him to possibly rely on minions, because they just seem to march forward with no guidance whatsoever, they're basically puppets! But this might be over-powered once again and it might sound better when I determine a numerical value.

R - Really don't have an idea for an Ult yet. I had this idea of possibly having an effect like Ahri's charm that your able to control for a while (direction wise, attack wise would be far too complicated). So I might come back and edit this when the idea comes to me, but fill free to give ideas!

Name - One that I like is Dmitri, but that might be too basic for LoL standards (Again ideas are accepted)

Quotes - Mostly quotes that center around puppets and string. Maybe his taunt could be him looking up to the sky and yelling something like "I'm not your puppet! You're mine!", referencing how we summoners are the real controllers of our champions. I want his selection quote to be like "There are no strings on me..." or "Sanity is for the weak!" (Any ideas are welcome)

Appearance - I want to make him look like a gentlemen, but also make it obvious that he's lost his mind. Maybe making him wear steampunk like clothing, and having a long bronze cane. He would also have a marionette constantly dangling from his fingers on his left hand (His attacking arm by the way).

Lore - This part is really difficult to make, because I don't wanna break any continuity that's already established. I wanted it to have a tie in with Annie (Since she was my first champion and I love playing as her) but it's a want and not a need or necessary tidbit. I thought he could have created the Tibbers doll she carries around or be related to Hasturs in someway, but once again, it's worth leaving out if it's that troublesome for me to fit in.

Even the title "The Wicked Puppeteer" isn't too final yet. But I hope this idea sparks the interest of the people at Riot Games and some Summoners who enjoy the idea. Leave any ideas you have below and I'll see if I can give you a response! I'll maybe try and edit the post when new ideas come to me if I can even do that (Is new to the forum), but thanks for reading through my extremely long post!
