[WIP] LoL Exiled Morgana Splash art Redraw

Posting the deviant art link because I only have 1 other post, so I suppose that makes me unable to post pictures here directly. I didn't know that was a thing tbh, but then again I rarely visit here.

So I was bored earlier, being as summer break has recently begun, and playing league 24/7 can get rather boring after a while queue shocked gasps and hisses from various league players I know I know, league is great, but I just got bored, what can I say? Anyways, in my state of boredom, I remembered that there's a skin for Cassiopeia that has an outdated splash art (looks pretty okay for the time being, but could use a makeover). I thought to myself, "Hey! I'm an artist, I know a thing or two about drawing! Maybe I, a 17-year-old girl with very little experience with very little experience in drawing, could remake that old splash art!". After a couple of tries of thinking of what I should do for a composition, looking at other people's version of the splash art, wallowing in my lack of confidence to even try because I knew the other artist's take on the splash art would be way better than anything I could do, I decided to give up. Then I remembered that Morgana has a few outdated splash arts too. Most are relatively amazing, although there are a select few that could use a makeover. Namely, blackthorn (questionable, I know), that one baking one (sinful sweets was it?), and the one and only, exiled morgana.

Blackthorn Morgana: Well drawn, shading, colouring, textures, realism, ALL AMAZING! But I thought the composition was lacking. I was thinking, Maybe she could be in a forest, the location could be better distinguished. Would create a better story, wouldn't it? Also, the colouring, shading, texturing, could be improved upon. Her skin in the splash art looks alright, but a bit, well, not skin like. NOT LIKE I'D KNOW HOW TO TEXTURE SKIN BUT MAYBE SOMEONE ELSE DOES, OKAY? Minor things that don't really matter, probably wouldn't warrant a splash art update, but still, my point stands. ** Sinful Sweets (The baking one):** Alright, this one can also be questionable, but some of the points I made in blackthorn could also be made here. It's well drawn, colours are good, and textures are alright. Although, my nit-picky self has some things it wants to be changed. Noticably, her teeth. Like, is it just me or does like, her teeth look weird? maybe it's just me, I don't know. Now, the composition is a bit bland. As we've seen with the updates to the MF skin splash arts, the splash art team really excels with the compositions. With the way morgana is placed in the splash art, she looks a bit stiff, when it's obvious what kind of emotions she's trying to show. Perhaps they should do something like bewitching, or even show a view from like, the oven or something. Something to improve the dynamic flow of the splash art. Food for thought (see what I did there ;) )

Exiled Morgana: Now, this one was the one I thought most definitely needed a redraw. The composition is lacking, and the background's look doesn't particularily match with morgana in it. It's really not good if the background has a more dynamic look than the main focal point. The texturing and blending is lacking, the hair is all broken up (gives it a sense of realism, but doesn't match today's style in splash arts) and doesn't look great, Morgana's face looks a bit, well, not like Morgana, and the colours just.... lack. It looks a bit muddy, and feels more green with the yellows and just doesn't sit right with me. I felt this skin needed to be redrawn the most.

So in my take of the skin's splash art, I wanted to give morgana a more empowered look, like she's all like "Here I am, once your sister, now to be gone. Watch me, as I leave forever" or something like that. I also brought the moon into play a bit more, and as you can see, I considered giving it a reddish tinge or colour, to intensify the scene. Let me know what you think! Comments and opinions are always welcomed! Thank you and have a good day!
