Isolde (Ice Mirror Mage/Fighter concept)

Brief Description: She is a melee fighter/mage from the Freljord who uses Ice mirrors to aid her in battle.

Cold Feet (Passive) - Whenever Isolde is displaced by a knockback she emits an aoe slow in the area where she was knocked back.

Her W being her most important ability since it interacts with the rest of her kit should probably be explained first:

Mirror's Reflection (W) - On cast, Isolde creates an ice mirror near her that faces the direction Isolde was facing when casted. This mirror cannot be targeted and will melt after a duration of about 60 seconds. This is not on a charge system and the cooldown should be high early game, and scale down as she puts points into the ability.

Isolde can target a mirror with left click to select it within a long range, this mirror should be indicated to all as the selected mirror. Selecting a mirror should take a short amount of time early game of 3 seconds, scaling down by 1 second per ult point, instantly being selected by level 16.

A mirror should have a face like so, giving things that come out of them 1 specific direction so that this isn't a coding mess.

Ice Shot (Q) - A long range line skillshot that has a low missile speed that can hit up to 3 champions or minions dealing more damage as it passes through units. Low cooldown once maxed. If this attack runs into a mirror, it will travel through the mirror to the selected mirror. (Confused yet?)

So here's where things get tricky. If Isolde hits Q through a mirror it will pop out on the end of the selected mirror. Early game you'll probably just travel this through 1 mirror and call it day. But once late game is reached, you have no cooldown on selecting mirrors which means you can bounce this through infinitely as long as it hasn't hit 3 champions or minions and as long as you keep selecting mirrors appropriately. This takes setup however because mirrors dont have a longer CD early game and they aren't a charge system.

Glacial drift (E) - Isolde does a very shot distance dash, resetting her auto attack and empowering her next auto attack to cleave and deal bonus damage.(Fiora's lunge distance). If she dashes through a mirror, she briefly becomes invulnerable while channeling for 1 second. After she is done channeling she will appear at the end of the mirror she dashed through (Note this is not the selected mirror), giving her a debuff of bonus movement speed and removing her ability to collide with units. If Isolde auto attacks an enemy during this debuff she will slow them and deal bonus damage.

Crystal cage(R) - Isolde gains 2 charges, each shooting a linear skillshot that collides with the first unit it hits. When it hits an enemy it will deal damage in a small aoe and mark the target. If Isolde auto attacks a marked enemy, the cage will activate dealing extra damage and very briefly stun the target.

Hey! Here are my thought on your concept!^_^

Passive: Situational at best and I kind of don't see how it's useful. If you get knockbacked by an Ali what good is creating a slow zone where you land? And many champions don't even have knockbacks( actually knockups are the same as knockbacks but still not very useful.) It doesn't synergies with her kit and it's kind of just there. Why not create something that rewards her for using her ice mirrors, like if she uses her ice mirrors properly she gets a buff.

W: Interesting, but for an ability that is supposed to be such a huge part if your kit it doesn't do anything by itself:/ Also constantly selecting mirrors to bounce your q can be pretty rough. why not just let it bounce just by throwing the q on it?

E: So I'm guessing she's kind of like Diana? An AP bruiser? She lacks the defensive abilities or incentive to go into melee range except this:/ Diana can protect herself with her W which grants a huge shield and her passive give her AAs AP scaling. Once Isolde jumps in what does she do? Even if she's AD she won't be doing much damage, she doesn't have a way to do a lot of damage in melee range unless the ult does massive damage and even than that's it.

R: Again she lacks incentive to go into melee range.

Overall: I think you have a cool idea but it needs work:/ Her W is supposed to be the central part of her kit, but it doesn't feel that crucial. yes the q effect is cool but besides that it doesn't have a big effect on her kit. Her passive is situational at best. And she doesn't really have a reason to go into melee range.

Maybe I'm wrong about all of this but these are just my opinions on what you have so far. Here are some questions I have for you.

Why should I pick Isolde? What does she bring that no other champ can bring?

How do you see Isolde as being played? How would you play her if you could and what would build on her and fight as her?

How would you play against her if you faced her?
