Rework Refunding

I love League of Legends and try to support the game by buying RP to get cool skins as often I can afford to. What I'd really like to see is that when Riot decides to completely rework a champion, Veirgar in this particular case, they give players a limited time to refund their skin purchase off the champion. Veigar went from my favorite mid lane champ to play to completely unplayable with awful mechanics that are just plain not fun. Unfortunately for me, I really liked the Final Boss skin for him and picked it up for roughly 20 bucks. I don't think there's any reason to refund the dollar amount but when Riot takes it upon themselves to rework champions for whatever the reasons they do, they should at least let the player redistribute the monetary contribution to a champion that they actually enjoy playing. The 3 refunds per account option is not valid because that only goes back a few months and so does not effect even the somewhat recent changes to champions.
