Champion Concept: Serylda - The Spectre of Winter

Design Philosophy: One of the things I've noticed in league is how big vision and vision wards have become. We have both trinkets and items dedicated to placing wards. In fact with the exception of sweeper lens there is very little way to reduce vision. There are two champions who can reduce champion vision: Nocturn who has an global few second black out on vision, and Graves' small aoe vision debuff. With that in mind I began to look at a Freljord champion who would embody the idea of winter: Cold, Wind, and Blinding Blizzards. My idea is to make her to be more of a support/jungler. Since she's controlling vision in the jungle her ganks would have more surprise to them.

Lore: Eons ago Lissandra betrayed her two sisters. She spilled the blood of her own kin to increase her power. However even death is a strange thing in Runeterra. The older sister, Avarosa, would eventually find resurrection through one of her decedents. The middle sister Serylda, however, using her dying breath, bound her soul to her ax. Buried in the permafrost of the mountain side Serylda waited, till one day someone came. The girl had found secret knowledge on their 'revered' ancient seer. She knew the truth behind the monster known as Lissandra. She fell to the ground, Her life blood melted the ice around the edge of the buried ax. When she touched the cold metal Serylda came forth, and offered to save the girl's life. The girl agreed, and the two souls became one. Serylda used her ancient power to seal the wound with ice. Now she is has come filled with the ancient hatred of her sister to unite the Freljord under her own banner.

Abilities Passive - - Serylda does not use mana to power her spells. Instead her auto attacks and abilities generate cold which she uses. The more enemies around her with the frost debuff the more cold she generates for her spells. All of her attacks and most abilities apply frost.

_ Q: Sweep _- all enemies in her front arc are hit and suffer magic damage: 80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260 (+40% AP) (cold cost: 0) (CD: very fast).

_ W: Winds of the South_ - Serylda rushes forward and through all minions, champions, and terrain. Every champion and minion struck suffer an attack speed debuff, and are slowed. Each champion or minion that has frost on them suffer magic damage, the frost is consumed. MAGIC DAMAGE: 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+ 50% AP) SLOW: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70% (Cost: 10 cold)(CD 11-15 seconds)

E: Blizzard - (toggled) AOE Centered on her. Enemies with the Frost debuff take damage over time while in her AOE. (10s / 15s / 25s / 35s / 45s) (+70% AP) Additionally wards suffer a vision debuff while they are in her AOE (10%/20%/30%/40%/50%). Her AOE grows in size as she levels starting out as a generic AOE size at level one, and growing to a Xerath sized AOE by level 18. (Cost: 5 cold/sec)(CD: 40-60 seconds if she runs out of cold. 10-15 if toggled off)

R: Artic Gale - A straight line shot similar to Nami's (thought not quite as wide or long) that can be aimed while she's ulting. Enemy champions hit by the initial blast are thrown away from the champion. If they hit an object or wall they are damaged and stunned. During the ult enemy champions are slowed if they move towards Serylda, otherwise they move at normal speed. if moving away. Friendly Champions have a movement speed buff while moving inside the ult away from Serylda. (the movement speed buff/debuff is (20%/40%/60%) (Cost: 60 cold)(CD: long)

Combos Because her powers relies on cold, she is playing a constant game of keeping frost up on as many things as possible to power her. In jungle She will want to use Blizzard sparringly. Only using it to reduce vision before an invade or gank. The blizzard will frost and slow enemy champions before she dives in. She initiates with W, Doing damage and consuming the frost. Next she follows up with Q reapplying frost, before following up with r which can push enemy champions out of position,giving her team the ability to chase or escape.
