Hi! I'm Raelaem Eudain From Eve Online and I have a proposal to make for Riot.

Hi! I used to play Eve Online since 2008 (the year I graduated High school) to about 2015 (League caught my interest). And I was one of the die hards, had some of the best ranking (KDA/EFFICIENCY) a pilot of my caliber could have back in the early years.

But I joined the military a few years later and became a casual up until 2015 for league of legends (A much more instant gratification kind of game)

Through out my years of dedicated play with Eve Online I became quite the loner, solo activist. Which was fine. I also knew a lot of people and held my head down close to the ground for events.

I'm sure plenty of people at Riot have heard the stories, even Marc Merrill (the co-founder of League of legends) even re-tweeted this

So now that I have completed the bridge that I'd like to call "Games look at other games" I'd like to talk about something that has been a growing concern of mine for some time.

Eve online and CCP games has this thing called a CSM (https://community.eveonline.com/community/csm/)

_- The Council of Stellar Management (CSM) is a player-elected council who represent the views of the members of the EVE Online community to CCP. To quote part of the CSM white paper summary:

The purpose of the CSM is to represent society interests to CCP. This requires active engagement with the player community to master EVE issue awareness, understanding, and evaluation in the context of the greatest good for the greater player base._

The reason I bring this up is because there is a huge problem with the league community these days, and often many of us feel ignored or disjointed or even mad at Riot games for "not listening".

I could list off plenty of things CSM has done for Eve Online, and even sometimes they don't even do anything, but they provide a voice that CCP Games respects and moves with.

Now I understand that these are 2 completely different games and finding a council for a MOBA game is much different than a MMO, but we can agree that both have huge player bases, both have passionate player bases, and they're are some people in all communities of League of legends that have weight in social media that I think a majority of people respect.

Examples could include:

Retired Pros Streamers Youtubers Castors Analyst

Not all are professional either, some streamers/youtubers cater to the low elo/casual playerbase.

All In all, League of Legends has a special place in my heart, it has grown on me for quite some time and helped me grow people skills I didn't think I needed (eve online I was an evil pirate who killed all the kiddies). But I think Riot can do better for us. I'm not suggesting Riot make every thing free, and bring back solo q or anything (item 3070 item 3070) but maybe give us a way of feeling involved.

I could talk forever about ideas on how I might do it, but I don't want to waste my time if this gets massively down-voted so... don't hate me.
