Storm Surge Xerath (Skin Idea)
If you don't really want to read why & how I came up with this idea just skip to the third Paragraph
So it's been a lovely two years since my boy Xerath got a new skin (and with Yorick getting his Arclight skin I think it's about time for my lovely arcane amalgamation to get some more love). This is a skin concept I've been re-thinking and coming back to for about 2 years (before his GotS skin).
We have forecast Janna and I was thinking we could continue along that line of skins and make something for Janna to forecast, and that's when I thought up this skin (as nobody is more suited to be a natural disaster than Xerath (Well maybe my boy Aurelion; screw you Targon, have a star in your face)).
General Looks/model:
He could literally just be a tornado with arms and angry eyebrows...
In all seriousness, his lower body (where his legs are currently (yes, Xerath has legs)) could just be a tornado with swirling bits of house, park and other various items in it. His upper body could be more like his current upper body where he has stones & dirt sorta amalgamated to form an upper-body, his arms could just be a continuation of this. For his eyes they could be bright yellow, of course he also needs some sweet lighting effects around his body (think his current E once it hits someone but all around his body constantly).

Q: This one was a little tricky to try and get something that would look cool for it, but I was thinking either a single lightning bolt fired out horizontally (think sheet lightning in real life) OR Some sort of sideways twister (literally a quick sideways tornado) I kinda dislike this one (as a science nerd I can't wrap my head around a sideways tornado, but hey, we have a floating forecast lady who shoots literal tornado's at people so anything's possible)
W: This one's easy, just a straight up lightning bolt from the sky. 'Nuff said.
E: This one could be pretty cool, but terribly hard to get into words (I'll try my best). Think of his current E (it's an orb that has cool shocky effects around it), now take this and make the blue in the center into a swirling vortex of clouds, in a ball of course, and to finish it off add lightning around it (like his current E except yellow instead of blue).
R: This one is REAL tricky, personally his old R (pre-rework) would have worked better (literally lightning). This time, however, it's a little weird to get it to fit with the theme but I'll try my best. I was thinking that visually on Xerath the lower part of his body that is just a tiny tornado completely envelopes him, turning him into a giant twister with piercing yellow eyes from inside, as well as violently spinning park & house chunks (and super cool lightning EVERYWHERE). For the actual cast of the ability is where it gets weird, I was thinking something more along the lines of his e (the one I mentioned not his base one) except much larger, this may be a little too copy-pastey which is why I say it's weird. Though having giant balls of thunder & dark clouds thrown at you from a violent self-centered (heh) tornado sounds both terrifying and awesome at the same time.
As for the price of the skin I'm thinking it doesn't need to be a legendary (Xerath has many "I'm going to kill you all" lines in his VO), but a 1350 is better as this skin would need some sound effect changing to work effectively.
Closing Statement
I'm just trying to look out for my lovely arcane amalgamation before he gets left behind in the dust (again). Let me know what you think of this idea! I would love some feedback (or not, I'm not the boss of you, we live in a free world after all).
