Vague, but new champion idea?
I know this might be really dumb to some people or already thought of/ generic which I know Riot doesn't want for their game but I'm really fond of the idea of having a professional thief and pickpocket themed champion. This "idea" spawned from when I was reading the description for a hextech key in the shop under the Chaos pass bundle where it says "For the times when a lock pick doesn't cut it" this ultimately made me wish I could play an infamous crook, most likely from Piltover or Zuan.
But when it comes to looks I'm stumped. I'm not much of a fan of flashy looking characters (Except for
) which I guess works since I know that wouldn't fit for a sneaky thief so all I could think of is the bland old cloaked, masked, shadowy looking figure.
Abilities could be interesting, a passive where it can mark certain creatures/champions to give him bonus/stolen gold could be a really good concept for making him a jungle or roamer. On the other hand he could be more of a support Robin hood type deal taking gold from the richest enemy player (Or just getting extra gold form minions or monsters) and giving it to an ally (Like
with Exp) making him a great support for late game champions. His Q, W, E, and R are a bit more tricky though. Something I've kinda wanted is a support move you can use to cloak, camouflage, or completely stealth anyone on your team. As OP as it sounds it could be really fun! While adding some variety to the support role. Traps seem kinda like a must along with a dash or roll due to his theme but there is one thing you see in a lot of stealth games that would be so interesting to see! Some sort of distraction, A rock, or a coin placed or thrown on the ground. This wouldn't be like Shaco's Jack in a box where it'd fade and be unseen by the enemy but more a small AoE charm that's hit or miss due to it's small range. Ult I can hardly think of anything which sucks since the Ult is usually the most important or holds the most impact of the kit.
This is more me just rambling and throwing ideas on paper, I know nothing about game design or how to keep something like this balanced in game hence why I have no numbers, specific unit measurements or anything really helpful to the creation of this idea. I figured no harm could come from me just being a dumb ass and dreaming on the discussion boards.
