Guys i just had a thought! What if kindred was the person laying dead in the picture before he was "split in two"? It says "all things must meet this man" but what if he was a bad king/prince who regulary did bad things to others e.g executing cos of this he had no friends but had the power to make a friend. also kindred might be the spirits that were inside of him/ possesing him! just a thought

No, kindred being two halves of a reaper or death like spirit makes way more sense then some evil king.... "Everyone must meet this man...so they shunned him..." This is the biggest giveaway. Everybody meets death eventually but we all want to postpone it as long as we can... Apparently this death spirit became lonely and cut himself in two.

That man is just a king, you can tell because of the crown in the picture. I doubt it's the man who split himself in two because that man was pale with dark hair. The man in the picture has copper-ish hair. I believe the man Kindred spoke of is Death. Death grew tired of being lonely since people shunned him (no one likes to die), so he split himself in two. Lamb represents the mind of death, precise and knowledgeable while Wold represents the heart of death, fierce and full of emotion. The king in the picture probably supposed to die, but avoided death is some way, so Kindred had to hunt him down.
