PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: Star Guardian Ahri!

So I've read all the comments in the pbe section for the Star Guardian Ahri skin (S.G.A.) as well as watched the spotlight etc. and I am sooo dissapointed that i can't contain myself. The skin is very lackluster for a legendary skin. I mean repeat colors on her tail and in her hair, No whiskers (with the claim that she's becoming more human-like in star guardian form) it just feels so off, and then while saying that Kiko is "tricksy, cute and alluring like Ahri herself" they make her V.O. sound like a cocky stuck up snob with no alluring aspects at all in the voicelines! Is it just me that thinks this skin is garbage? It might seem ungrateful but I am an ahri main and the last thing i want is her legendary skin to be utter trash! Sure it has a cool recall, sure she has a new dance and some more particles. But thats barely anything considering how badly they messed up everything else. And then the people commenting in the pbe all criticize the same things repeatedly yet riot just blows by them saying we've already decided on this or that. What's the point of even having pbe criticism/suggestions if they don't even listen! I feel like they wasted ahri's potential in this "legendary" skin. I feel like blood moon, cosmic, or even darkstar would have been better for ahri as legendary skins. Does anyone else have these same thoughts?

I feel exactly the same way. They should've given the star guardian legendary to Soraka imo. This SG Ahri skin is disappointing to say the least, I can't stand the way it looks and in game you can hardly tell if its SG or Popstar. But riot is only ever going to make skins for the champs that are popular and bankable. :/

I'm also a bit disappointed by this Skin. Hoped for more for her legendary skin tbh. I like the animation of her tails though. They could use these on all other skins as well. Ahri FTW! :D

im an Ahri main too,i was so happy when i heard about this, i like the skin BUT that face and that laugh omg ..come guys ..you can do better ,there is nothing beautiful in that face, i mean no offense guys but i hope there is some time left to do some changes.

Idk I personally like the skin my only issues are that:

  1. They changed the hair to blonde now but it's not really that bad. I just preffered the old look more. I'll be really glad if they change it back. :(
  2. The ult problem but idk it's not that big for me. I can always play this skin on normals and in ranked play something else. Also it looks so cool so for me it's more of a bonus than minus...
  3. When she recalls in the end the tails go out of her feet or something(I can't really explain that good :D) but it's not something that bugs me a lot. I think rito did a great job and it was hinted that she has that bitchy presonality (academy) and I love it. But I can understand that some people will have issues. It kind of depends of the person and what they like. ;D

I feel like they could have put in a bit more work into her hair. Looks quite similar to Academy Ahri's hairstyle. Not that much but in a way it's somewhat alike. I won't like but from my perspective, her laugh is terrifying, even Lux's laugh is cuter lol and bearable to listen to. Overall they didn't fail that much on the skin. Though, there are a few flaws here and there. In regards of her new voice lines, many of them are actually good but some are just terrible. Obviously her personality should be reflected as youthful/teenage like but... they kind of exaggerated in a few lines. My first impression of SG Ahri (Her personality by reading her background and such) that she would be an emotional, understanding, strong and independent Star Guardian who would be mature but still a bit teenage-like. It's not like Riot will change it, regardless, because now it's too late. But yeah, that's how I view her skin overall. Beautiful, but had much more potential.
