Feature Suggestion: In game chat translations

I had a teammate in my game the other day who could speak English, but slowly and poorly. Their primary language was Chinese. I thought it might be a cool idea to have automatic text translations for foreign players. They could set their text to automatically be translated to English and have all incoming chat come in as Chinese (Or whichever language they prefer.) I actually attempted to implement this myself, but Riot has made it quite difficult to extract the incoming chat. I didn't get any further than just getting a network sniffer to find the incoming chat data. I think I found it but it is encrypted and I'm not sure how to do decrypt it, and I'm guessing Riot probably doesn't want me to anyway, even if it is for my own use.

Anyway, anyone else think this would be a cool feature?
