[CHAMP IDEA] - Vaun, The Missing Conduit
Hi guys :3 Seen a lot of champ concepts/creations so I thought I'd share my own. Did a quick art thingymajig (the base is a character from one of my favourite games Dishonored :D) and added some potato-level photoshop editing. Anyways, on to the specifics, tell me what you think.
Lane: Top/Mid Resource: Static Base health: 470 (+74 per level).
ABILITIES
- PASSIVE
Vaun builds up static whenever he moves (3 per second) or when he basic attacks an enemy unit (3 per second) – the amount of static can be traced below his health bar. After 4 seconds of not moving and attacking, he loses static at a rate of 7 per second.
Casting abilities discharges residual static that Vaun stores, at 40 static per ability.
Static adds additional effects to Vaun’s abilities. Furthermore, at 100 stacks, Vaun becomes electrically charged, gaining 10 additional movement speed.
- Q (RESISTANCE) - 5 :
Vaun discharges a bolt of static at a target champion, dealing 60/100/150/210/270 (+30% AP). If the enemy champion has built up 5 stacks of static, Resistance will also slow the enemy champion by 20(+2% AP).
Cooldown : 11/9/8.5/7/6.5
- W (FULLY CHARGED) - 5:
PASSIVE: Vaun’s basic attacks and abilities add stacks of Static to enemy champions, up to 5 total – stacks from basic attacks last for a brief time and drop off quickly, while stacks from abilities will remain slightly longer.
ACTIVE: Vaun charges himself with electricity, gaining a considerable yet brief speed boost (30/35/40/45) that decays rapidly over 3 seconds. His next basic attack within 5 seconds deals extra damage equal to 40% of Vaun’s ability power.
While on cooldown, Fully Charged doesn’t passively add stacks.

- E (STATIC SHIELD) - 5:
Vaun releases all of the Static that he has stored to shield himself. Each unit of static absorbs 1/1.4/1.7/2/2.5 damage and, if it holds, lasts for 3 seconds.
Activating Static Shield empties all reserves of Static, and if after 3 seconds the shield still holds, replenishes the static bar by 20.

- R (ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE) - 3:
PASSIVE: When Vaun drops below 10% health, he charges himself with static power, granting an additional +10 speed boost (in addition to the speed boost granted by his passive).
ACTIVE: Vaun targets an enemy champion and links himself to them, channeling a bolt of weak static electricity. Over the course of four seconds, the static bolt grows in power, progressively slowing the enemy target by 40%. At the end of the channel, the static bolt releases the enemy champion and deals 150/250/400 (+50% AP). After the damage is dealt, the bolt will seek out other secondary enemy champions in the primary champion’s immediate radius, dealing 40% reduced damage (up to two secondary targets).
Electrical discharge can be channeled while moving, and any other ability or basic attack command entered during the channel will interrupt it, putting it on a 30% reduced cooldown.
Well there you have it. It is a tad confusing as there's a lot of things to master, especially keeping track of the static bar and knowing how to carefully keep a watchful eye on how much static you have in stock. Then again, I see Vaun as fun champion to play, and given his speed boosts from his passive and his R's passive, he has great roaming potential and could either be an AP toplane or the more traditional AP midlaner.
