Invictus Xayah

Dear Legends, Riot has teased about the new Invictus skins which are awesome, however it breaks up my favorite feathered duo Xayah and Rakan. I understand that the skins are up to the players picks and each champion gets a cool recall with the pro's name under it, but wouldn't it be cool to have a Xayah skin to match Rakan just as they always have. The signiture under Xayah when she recalls could just say Invictus and we could reunite Vastaya's greatest duo. (Also when they duo recall how would they program in the lover's leap [second passive] if rakan has a signiture under his recall and xayah doesnt? They could just put Invictus under that too.) Wouldn't it feel wrong to play Xayah and Rakan without a matching skin-set since their abilities so nicely mesh together? I know its not a requirement that the two love birds always be matching or even played together but i do have a strong love for the duo. I also understand Xayah already has an SSG skin but so does Rakan. Having one team skin shouldn't stop her from qualifying from another especially because Rakan will have two team skins as well.

Having Xayah and Rakan without matching skin is completely out of theme.

It would be the same with making a skin where only Lamb gets changed while Wolf stays the same.

Honestly it's so f'ing stupid to have champs that come out together like XAYAH and RAKAN and not have the same skins. It's just dumb. It's basically illegal. It ruins the whole love bird duo thing. They will look shitty as hell recalling together. Like really? Also rakan just got a winners skin. Why not pick something else. Ugh the player of IG is something else... Riot should have shot it down. I'm so damn pissed about this.

If no one has seen this yet I already stopped caring.

Invictious chose the skins, so it was them that took Kai'sa over Xayah.

I'm sure if they asked Invictus, they'd be fine with putting a Xayah skin in the game.

I dont mind that they get their own skins. I dont think Xayah and rakan should share every single skin they receive.

Honestly, It is understandable since the IG skins were all chosen by the players on that roster. Probably the only reason that Xayah didnt get a matching skin was because of that reason. The SSG skins from 2017 were all chosen by the roster with CoreJJ choosing Rakan, and Ruler choosing Xayah . However it does seem wrong to release one without the other because Scruffy replied to a question posted on the lol subreddit telling a player that:

"Yea, the plan is keeping with the matching skins." - here is the post, it is the second question asked.

Maybe since Rakan gets a standalone skin maybe Xayah will get the same? Nobody will know for now at least but it does indeed seem wrong for riot to release a standalone skin for champions who were designed to be together.

it's because it's gonna be PRESTIGE invictus xayah...and then people are gonna want PRESTIGE invictus rakan!

but fr it's another one of those: hey dont get your hopes up riot does wtvr they want with this game and annihilate any concept on a whim with taking great care of looking at our feedback and doing we dont know what with it but it's defenitely not what the playerbase wants

where's that zombie brand head slap emote when you need it...next thing you know they get the morg/kayle treatment!

I hope this invictus skin is just a one time deal and that xayah and rakan will never have to go without matching skins again.

If they made a chroma for her that matched his colors I wouldn't complain. They could toss another one in though. It doesn't have to be invictus, but if they don't have matching skins it throws off the theme.

If they wanted to have a similar skin to match it, they could come out with a Twilight Xayah, Hollowed Xayah, (whatever to fit a black and white scheme) Xayah.

I disagree for the reason that this duo in the botlane was symbolic for the IG bot Lane duo. You see in many matches the played the combo of rakan kai sa for the sole reason that rakan and xayah where pretty match always separated in the pick ban phase. That's why I was actually happy to see only Rakan to get the skin since it shows that riot cared more for the wishes of their players rather than a stereotype that they set themselves

I think maybe they could release a standalone Xayah skin that is mostly dark coloured with white accents to contrast the rakan skin while not being too similar to the invictus line. Personally I think it’s odd to release a Rakan skin without Xayah but I understand why and I’m happy they didn’t force invictus to chose a different champion to have the skin.

I was so angry when I saw that Rakan had a new skin without Xayah. I'l not the biggest fan of these two champions (my main is Quinn lol) but they are the only couple in League of Legends, which means they HAVE to be together. I really think they should be the ALWAYS together.

You want to add Xayah to represent the World's winners, the team that completely swung FNC out of the stadium, the team that was under so much pressure and finally pulled through and was rewarded to pick a champion that impacted their victory, even though they NEVER picked Xayah? just for virtual lore made by Riot Games? that is so dishonorable especially when Xayah contributed nothing to winning their World Championship. you're those people who play League just to use a skin. be considerate next time.
