I am sorry, this is a re-post, since somehow the boards wouldn't let me edit the previous topic. At least, now the champion is much more balanced. I will be writing his lore next, hoping that I am allowed to edit this now.

Lore

Not decided upon yet, but will soon be able to wright something longer. This is only a tiny draft!

Long-short story: Vidritch was born in a similar way as Zac, and was destined to be a weapon of destruction. However, just like Zac, Vidritch posessed a consciousness of his own. Having found the way of keeping him under control, he would forced to do the unthinkable. Never was he able to set himself free of the shackles that kept filling him with grief. He would be made to join the League of Legends to use the Fields of Justice as a testing ground, and had he ever had the opportunity, Vidritch would be long gone from this world.

Quick overview

Vidritch is a quick and evasive mage, whose strengnth lies in locking down both single opponents or groups of opponents. All of his abilities have some kind of Crowd Control or alternative effects that will help him survive fights and make sure his opponents don't escape his team, by the use of mini-pulls and permanently slowing his enemies. This makes him an extremely great chaser if he has the upper hand.

Skills/Abilities

PASSIVE: Innate Magnetism

*Vidritch will receive 10% extra gold from any ally champion kill, whether he was involved or not.

R: Pole Inversion/Pole Reversion Mana Cost: 100/125/150 Cooldown: 100/90/80 Range: Self-Cast / Radius: 700 (2/3rds Morgana R max range)

· Vidritch creates a magnetic field around him for 3/4/5 seconds, and can move with it. Its size is about 2/3 of Morgana's ult. This ability is not cancelled if enemy champions escape its reach, and is castable without enemies · Vidritch gains 5/10/15% spellvamp while in his field. · Progressively slows all enemies, initially 20%, gradually reaching 60% at the end of the casting [Enemies caught mid-ult will receive the augmented slow accordingly] · Deals 25/50/75 (+0.05/0.1/0.15 AP) magic damage per second to an enemy champion. In case multiple champions are caught in the magnetic field, the damage will be divided equally between them.

Pole Reversion (re-cast)

· At any time, the magnetic field can be terminated, thus interrupting the slows and the damage. When this happens, all enemy champions still in the field will be knocked back from the center for a distance of 800 units. · Enemies colliding against terrain during the knock-back will be rooted for 1/1.5/2 seconds. · If not re-cast after the entire duration, Pole Reversion will automatically cast at the end of Pole Inversion.

Quotes Vidritch's voice is a mechanized young man's voice, similar to Orianna but a bit more human; and with the calm and serenity of Nasus' voice.

Upon selection "Know of the pain you bring me, Summoner."

Movement "Yes, my Summoner." "Of course, my Summoner." "Should I really?" "I think I know what awaits." "So much potential... and to waste it like this..." "To further worsen the incurable wounds." "Why insist, my Summoner?" (when clicking too much) "And endless path of suffering." "If only they gave me one chance...!" "You can help me, my Summoner..."

Attacking "I feel... attracted to them..." "Fools..." "May they rest in peace." "Your orders..." "I did not ask for this." "One day, this will be alll over..." "Please reconsider, my Summoner...!"

Joke (Vidritch starts juggling with all kinds of silverware, making a fork land on top of his head before ending in a "ta-da!" pose.) "Why did the polar bear cross the road?" "The other side happened to be much more attractive."

Taunt (Vidritch poses his feet on the ground and starts walking forward, but he can't move, some force is blocking him. H then puts his hand forward and looks away.) "This is strange. I cannot help but to observe how repulsive you are." "You seem in need of help... Unfortunately, fate is against us."

Taunting enemy Mordekaiser Mordekaiser "I feel so bad for you, Mr. Tin Man. So, so bad..."

Taunting enemy Orianna Orianna "You... I know of you. I wish not to hurt you, but why must you be..."

Taunting enemy Viktor Viktor "Viktor, you are a despicable human being. Have you no remorse at all?"

Taunting enemy Zac Zac "I feared we would be on the opposite sides of the battlefield, my brother...

My vision of this champion

While the base damage of his abilities may seem quite high at lower levels, I find that Vidritch's greatest strength is the capacity to permanently lock down enemies and keep them from escaping if things are going in his favour. His passive would have great synergy with his ultimate and his E. The major problem would seem to be the lack of escape mechanics, which would actually compensate the innate aggressive playstyle of this character. In any event, I believe this champion would be very fun to play, and some interesting plays can be made. Probably, his major counters would be any kind of CC, which he seems very vulnerable to, and poke-back at lower levels. His mana pool is not overly great early levels, but some items for mana and survivability should solve that.

Note: I haven't checked if there are any other magnet-type champions in the suggestions. However, I re-assure you this concept is entirely original and made up, although I could see why there could be likenesses to other champion suggestions, since some characteristics are obvious.

The QW are kind of boring but I love the E and the R (especially the R!). It's like a roving aniva ult+Nunu ult. It's probably OP but its still an interesting concept.

Doesn't make sense that he steals 10% of HIS armr/mr. Either make him steal 10-15% of the enemy armor/mr, or make him shred it and gain a shield. Nice idea though.

I would personally change the ulti to a slow from 30% at the sides to the 60% in the center if running away from the center, and make it become a +20% to +30% for allies and +10% to 0 for enemies (that make more clear the idea that he is pulling them to the center, and the later explosion makes this effect of charging and then exploding) if you are running towards the center.

I would also put the damage on the explosion, the more the more enemy champions stayed in the charging field the more damage it would deal. Like it would gain stacks for each second each enemy champion stayed in, and then you'd deal damage scaling off it. Like 3 champs for 1 sec would give 3 stacks, 2 champs for 1 sec and 1 for 3 would give 5 stacks.

The passive can not "take" (I guess you mean copy, or do you actually mean they get slowed?) a percentage of the opponent MS and add it: since it is a fixed amount of MS that means it will be multiplied by %MS. This means that you'd get +35 ms, but if you have %MS increase it would become even near 50 buonus MS. Probably it is too much.

I would change the W to act like Syndra's Q, but it creates a pulling zone that pulls everyone towards it, and if you get catched in the middle you are stunned (at most 1 stun allowed). No (or very little) damage but it shreds armor/mr by a good amount.

The E could give a shield and armor to a specific ally champs, slowing whoever is near him.

I know, i just transformed him into a support, but i felt the kit would fit better. Moreover, the old abilities really semed like some abilities that already exist, without too much of a modification
