Assists on minions

I personally believe that if riot made it so you could get assists on minions, that it would vastly help mainly supports, but also everyone else. Riot could possibly make this a passive for support items, or make it universal. Since assists on champions give the player 150g instead of 300g, Riot may want to give half of the gold for the assist, and possibly a little less for cannon minions. Just a thought for consideration.
