The new ranked draft pick

I just thought that there is a slight flaw into the system for people who usually like to fill. Wouldn't it be awesome if you can decide maybe to like ban certain positions for example you want to fill but your worst position is top lane and jungle so you have the option to ban those two positions. That was my first idea but not the main idea, the main idea I had about the system being flawed is the fact that your are assigned a position as fill. I personally think that you shouldn't be assigned the role right away and while in draft pick you can discuss among teammates what you would like to play lets say during suggestion period (I don't know what to call it but it's the period right before banning) that you have two or more people who decided to take fill position or ended up taking fill position as a second choice, instead of the game assigning roles it would be cool that the people in the game itself could.
