[Champion Concept] Kasroc, the Great

This the reworked Kasroc the Great that no-one probably heard of. This champ has been in the works for a year now. No art for him yet and lore will be reworked eventually to fit the new lore style and also the voice lines/taunts are not ready yet. So without further (what nobody reads) a due here he is.

Kasroc the Great Role: primary fighter, secondary tank Health:430(+88) Attack Damage:50(+3.2) Heath Regen.:6.8(+0.5) Attack Speed:0.620(+2.25%)
Armor:15(+3.5) Magic Res.:30(+1.25) Range:175(melee) Mov. Speed:330

Passive: Way of the Warrior: Kasroc gains bonus attack damage equal to 2% of his maximum health Passive: Will of the Warrior: Kasroc’s health regeneration is increased by 1% for each 5% of his missing health.

Q Chaos Cut: Range (425) Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 Cost: No Cost Passive: For each basic attack and Q hit, Kasroc applies one stack of Chaotic Wounds. When three stacks of Chaotic Wounds are applied, they are instantly consumed and reduce Kasroc’s cooldown by 1 second and he gains [(30/35/40/50/65)+ (1%/1.5%/2%/2.5%/2.5% of Karoc’s HP)] After stacks are consumed on an enemy, they cannot be affected by Chaotic Wounds for 5 seconds. Active: Kasroc swings his sword quickly twice, dealing 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 / 110(+0.3 AD scaling) per hit. The swing applies two Chaotic Wound stacks. (This hits twice)

Chaos Cut can be used during Into Battle! to deal the same amount of damage to enemy units below Kasroc, and applies one stack. Stacks can be consumed during this effect.
Chaos Cut can be used right after landing from Into Battle! making Kasroc spin and apply two stacks to enemies around him.  Cannot be used if Decapapunch was used in the air.

W Decapapunch: Range (300) Cooldown: 16/13/12/11/10 Cost: No Cost Active: Kasroc punches and follows through his punch dealing 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 / 175(6% of max hp) physical damage until the first Champion he hits. When Kasroc is at the end of his range or hits an enemy champion, a shockwave is sent out, dealing 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 / 125(3% of max hp) damage and slowing enemy units by 35% for 1.5 seconds.

Decapapunch can be used during Into Battle! to have him slash all enemies below and stop his momentum.

E Into Battle!: Range (675) Cooldown: 24/22/20/18/15 Cost: No Cost Active: Kasroc jumps into battle, stabbing his swaxe into the ground when he lands dealing 35 / 80 / 125 / 150 / 185 (+0.2 AD)(+10% of max hp)

R :Seismic Explosion Range (400) Cooldown: 150/120/90 Cost: No cost Kasroc starts charging energy for an explosive attack, while charging Kasroc’s movement speed is slowed by 15%. Kasroc cannot attack or use abilities while charging except for Into Battle. After 2 second of charging Kasroc releases an AOE explosion does 150 / 250 / 350 ( +30% of Kasroc max health )enemies caught in the explosion are briefly knocked back. Kasroc gains armor/magic resist for each enemy champion hit by (5%, 10%, 15%) for 3 seconds.

Lore : Over the past millennia Runeterra has been ravaged by the last two Rune Wars. Little does anyone know that the first one was just an onslaught of one person. Before it began Runeterra had actually almost achieved peace, but this single man declared war on the whole continent. The war raged for 64 years until he was eventually defeated in the Fyrone Flats. His weapon was left there since no one could move it and it was corrupted will deadly arcane magic. He could not be killed so his body was sealed by the Institute of War into a thing they were creating called the Summoner’s Rift. But in recent times the Institute of War suddenly built a new Summoner’s Rift for no clear reason, but they knew. They gave him the title “the Great” for he put up the greatest fight the world had seen. A month after the new Summoner’s Rift was put to use, the old suddenly exploded. The continent of Valoran has had its worst fears come true. Kasroc had broken free.

Appearance: Red eyes Brown wavy hair. a cloak similar to the one that Guts from berserk wears with dark-armor underneath similar to the protagonist of the glory of Hercules’ armor.. Similar body size as Tryndamere/Braum/Jayce

Personality: Sarcastic and acts like an ass alot of the time For reference- Senyu - Ross

Weapon: A sword with the blade of a battle-axe replacing the handle guard. The length is as tall as him

Skin Ideas: Hero Kasroc- Has white roman clothes on. Swaxe is gold. Has gold laurel crown in his hair. Pool Party Kasroc- Swaxe is made out of pool floaties. Cloak is a towel.

Update 11/18/14 Nerfed Q's ad scaling to 0.3 from 0.5 Nerfed W's range to 300 from 550 and increased the cooldowns to 16/13/12/11/10 from 10/9/8/7/6 Added slow duration on W Nerfed E's range to 675 from 800 and increased the cooldowns to 24/22/20/18/15 from 15/13/11/9/8 Also nerfed E's ad scaling to 0.2 from 0.35 and removed the ap scaling and added an armor scaling Increased E's damage to compensate for ad scaling nerf to 35 / 80 / 125 / 150 / 185 from 45 / 80 / 115 / 140 / 175 Nerfed R's range to 400 from 500 and added duration of snare and duration of buff

*Update 3/5/15 Nerfed Will of the Warrior ratio from 1-1 to 1-5

Added length of time after stacks are consumed that Chaotic wounds cannot be applied for Increased Q's cooldown to 10/9/8/7/6 from 9/8.5/6/5/5 Increased number of passives stacks required for Chaotic wounds to be consumed from 3 to 4 Decreased heal % scaling from Chaotic wounds to 1%/1.5%/2%/2.5%/2.5% from 1%/1.5%/2%/2.5%/4% Added note that EQ combo cannot be used if W was used during E

If W is used in the air it will now stop his momentum

Changed E's scaling from +15 armor to 10% heath

Various changes the ult including a charge time that now slows while charging and can only use E while charging, cannot be reactivated to ult early. Lowered the damage from 150 / 300 / 450 to 150 / 250 / 350 No more ad scaling on ult but an increase to % health scaling from 5%/10%/15% to a flat 30% Decreased armor and magic resist per champion hit from 5%, 10%, 20% to 5% to 10%, 15%

Passives : both encourage you to build health one give AD = to 2% of his max health and the other increases health Regen per 1% missing health...

So i am going to make a build with the health focus of the passive...

Frozen Mallet : +700 Health, +30 Attack Damage and a 40% slow per hit The Black Cleaver : +200 Health, +50 Attack Damage, +10% Cooldown Reduction, +10 Armor Penetration, and bonus 5% armor pen for 4 seconds that stacks 5 times. Warmog's Armor : +1000 Health, and bonus 1% of max Health, Regen per 5 seconds Ravenous Hydra : +75 Attack Damage, +15 Health Regen per 5 seconds, +12% Life Steal and a lot of bonus damage potential Guardian Angel : +50 Armor, +40 Magic Resist, plus come back to life at 30% hp Boots of Swiftness/Mercury's Treads : either for the extra speed or reduced CC based on your lane opponent.

In total, you get +1900 Health, +155 Attack Damage, + 50 Armor, + 45 Magic Resist, +12% Life Steal, +15 Health Regen per 5... and factoring in all your bonus stats with your level 18 stats, grand totals are (using these items plus your passives)

Health: 3914 Attack Damage: 340.88 Heath Regen.: 69.96(at max health with potential, but unlikely 134.2006 at 99% missing health) Attack Speed: 0.8711 Armor: 113 (at 100 it takes twice as much physical damage to kill you) Magic Res.: 92.5 (which for every 1 point it takes 1%more damage to kill if i remember correctly) Range:175(melee) Mov. Speed:330

just doing the math based on a wuick look through the items, your champions isnt the fastest, but he definitely gets the best of both worlds since he has nearly 4k hp and almost 350 damage with this setup... He is a primary tank, secondary fighter with this build... and even then he is amongst the most potential health and health Regen... Plus will be dealing a lot of damage in the process with his 350 AD, not the highest but definitely a threat, especially on a tank like champion.

Q : a very low cool down on a no cost ability passive : auto attack based triggered, health regen... which only take 3 hits to trigger. Since i dont see any duration on these stacks i have to assume that they last indefinitely... If this is the case then your number of stacks is WAY too low... I would put the number of stacks at 5 if you want to keep it this way... why? well with your method you can potentially (unlikely but possible) place 2 stacks on all 5 champions and then just hit them once, healing yourself for 150/175/200/250/325 +5%/7.5%/10%/12.5%/20% your max health (why the awkward number jumps in the bolded sections?), and this is if it only hits champions... if it applies on minions too... you wont even need to go to base unless you are buying items Active : attack twice with your sword dealing a total of 60/100/140/180/220(60%AD) and applies stacks for your passive, so this is a further reason you need to put more stacks to trigger... ALSO a quick question, can i use this on a ward to possibly take it out before it turns invisible? since it sounds like two quick auto attacks. It also can be comboed with your W to apply stacks to every unit around you... which make your potential heal huge...

W : The numbers are really nice here... although if i could make one change i would witch it to 25/50/75/100/125(+3% of max hp) for each unit passed through until you hit a champ or reach the end and then he slams his weapon to the ground causing a shock wave that deals 75/100/125/150/175(+6% of max hp)... the reason is i dont think the passing through/knocking over should deal more damage then that final lunge, since that is the apex of your move. keep in mind though that you might deal 100/150/200/250/300(+9%max health) so at full build using what i did before you would deal 300+234.84 damage to a few minions and one target. One thing i like about this though is the fact that it's a skill shot... But i need to ask, how fast does he travel? it needs to be able to be dodged... The ability reminds me a little of Vi's vault... hers is balanced by having a charge time and a self slow for a short duration... keep this in mind.

E : your E is fine as it is, if anything it is a little weak... Though it is an AOE ability, i still feel it needs to be brought up a little.

R : Your ult has a lot going on here... first off, i see it says range, but is that the cast range or the range of the AOE effect? is it instant like Amumu? if so then you have a slightly buffed version of his. Your does have a lower snare... but far more damage potential

150 / 300 / 450 (+0.5 AD, +[5%/10%/15% of Kasroc max health)

You have higher base damage and at max level full build (using the one above) you get 450+170.44+587.1=1207.54... to everyone... in a 500 unit circle... I think you see where this is going... this sort of makes your whole buff to AR, and MR useless since you will knock off nearly 1/2 - 2/3 of and squishy character...

Notes : He needs some tweaking to maintain balance... but all together i like this champion... He feels like he could be related to Mundo but with more utility focus instead of survivability focus. Picture both what it'd be like to play as him AND what he's like to play against... try to find the balance where he is fun for both parties. Also figure out what his counters are... It's important to know this so that you can point out how he fits into the spectrum of champs

Lets see, your lore is outdated, the Institute of war is no more. This happened a while ago, the being sealed in the summoner's rift works, and yes, if this champion has the obliteration of Runeterra on his mind it works.

I like the theme of this champion. He reminds me a lot of Olaf with his barbaric warrior style. His passive suits him quite well. Some of the abilities could be explained better though. But, overall it was an interesting concept.

Has a fitting feel to it and seems pretty balanced, good work!

Q:

Quick clarification, do you mean reduction in just Q cooldown or all cooldowns? All CD's would be too strong. Building AS on this guy would be monstrous. I'll assume the stacks only work on champions (on minions right now this would be way too strong)? Also, how long do stacks last? Otherwise a good ability.

W:

Dustwind8 addressed this really well, nothing to add to what was said.

E:

Damage here seems a little low, but the biggest problem I have comes from visualizing how this interacts with the W. Could you clarify this a little more, maybe a visual aid if necessary.

R:

There's a little too much going on here. I suggest lowering damage potential and removing the snare if you want the bonus resistances. If you want a snare and the resistances, the damage needs to really substantially be reduced. Otherwise good champ overall, don't be so hard on yourself you have something worth looking at.

It seems that some of his abilities are a bit over powered as others are quite hard to understand due to the lack of explanation of the ability itself. Also there is no explanation of "Chaotic Wounds" nor is there an explanation of " Vital Strikes" and how to consume the stacks, that I know of currently. But so far so good.

note Add the root times for the ultimate "Seismic Explosion" note once the lore is more apparent for everything else then update the lore a bit here as well

I really like this champ idea, it's very unique, and I would bring up a lore problem, but seeing as your going to change his lore anyway there seems to be no point in bringing it up. Anyway, ive been waiting for a dark knight, evil style champion for a while now, and this is a perfect description of a champ I would buy. One more thing, Im wondering how exactly he would use the axe part of his swaxe effectively seeing as it is aaround the handle, hould he use it like a guillotine, or would he turn the whole weapon around and use the axe part properly? (Also just gave me an idea. Could you do a secondary design where he switches weapons, much like jinx, by turning around his swaxe, and dealing aoe with his axe and striking sigle targets but faster with the sword end? And possibly design him with something other than mana, such as adrenaline, that he gains from battling, that at a ceratin point give him an hp and ad buff when full? Just my ideas on it, love the champ concept, and I would definitely buy this guy. Hope Rito finds you out man)

Hey man sorry it took so long to review your champ.

From what I see, the numbers and the abilites look good, and the concept is good, but given the current lore, I don't think his lore would fit in. While it would be fun to have a Badass super human guy, I don't think the lore works, but you don't need to change it.
