Riven Championship Golden Chroma for the OG

The new Riven Championship Golden Chroma is only for the 2016 skin. Why is it not possible to get it for the OG skin? I mean Riot created a 2016 skin so that the OG buyers wouldn't feel cheated by the OG skin losing value, but now it feels like Riot is only accounting for the new skin. Besides they've already made it except for the crown. So it probably wouldn't be the biggest project to see through.

Anyone else with the OG skin who feels left out?
