IP or RP?

So, I was thinking about getting a skin for master yi, Cosmic. and I realized it needed RP which I have none of... Then I thought I would try and convince Riot to add IP for RP which I am doing right now. I know what people will say, this will be :Too OP" because players could buy over powered items from just a few matches. I totally disagree with this because the system could be something not so OP, like 2k IP for 200 RP. As a normal player, this would take a while and would be very tedious just for 200 RP. Also, I think skins -for champions- should be available with IP, just a lot more than the amount of RP.
