Before the Field of Justice and the founding of Summoners rift,there was a tribe of small villagers who were made up of mostly fishermen and one blacksmith who acted as the village elder and with a young son living near the banks of the Serpentine River.

It was said this place was once a sleepy, peaceful village located near the north of the Demacian capital, only moderately known as a decent place to fish for Valoran trout and not much else.A young boy lived there named Tiberius , he lived a simple life as a blacksmith's son helping him from time to time when his father needed it. Years passed by and Tiberius grew into a young man he grew a keen interest in the way of the sword rather than the hammer.
Tiberius dreamt of becoming a soldier in the Demacian army, one day on the celebration of Tiberius becoming a man his father presented him a sword of fine Demacian steel "my finest blade I have ever crafted I hope you use it well and for the greater good of this world you have always made me proud". i have something for you farther. Tiberius handed over a carved wooden statue of his late mother "so you will never be alone farther even when im gone"
Little did Tiberius know that day was sooner than he would expect.

That night as everyone lay sleeping two powerful nations marched to war against one another as the village slept a breeze blew in from the east rain began to fall and clouds blackened the night. Tiberius woke to the sound of a loud soaring scream like a screeching bird of some sort...... Tiberius lay still in his bed. the very scream of the beast that was making this sound, put fear in to the heart of him. the sounds from outside his hut were like nothing he had heard. Before clambering to his feet, he grabbed his sword and rushed outside. as he stumbled from the doorstep, he could see a group of soldiers carrying the Noxus banner killing villagers without mercy a creature of some sort stood in the middle of them. of the village some twenty meters from his hut. the night sky made it hard to make out the figure in the darkness only when they began to burn the houses around them did Tiberius see what looked like bird or half dragon like creature its feathers or scales of some sort stained blood red with the body's that lay before it. As he Rubbed his eyes in disbelief he noticed his farther bound and being dragged before this thing this monster!. "Farther!" he gasped to himself at that moment the creatures head twitched to the left as if it heard Tiberius. Then in a white flash and blink of a eye a man now stood upright where the creature was standing. Tiberius could just see his farther who was now surrounded by a handful of guards bearing torches he was kneeling there in a puddle of bloody water and mud he was in bad shape beaten and bloody. This thing leaned over to Tiberius's father and seemed to say something in his ear. a pause for a second or two then Tiberius's farther stared this creature in the face "IL NEVER TELL YOU NEVER!" said his farther.At this moment the creature turned its head glanced over its left shoulder in a calm manner he stared straight into Tiberius's eyes as if if knew he was there all along and was simply toying with the boy he then pulled a sword from his soldiers sheath swung it back and thrusted it into Tiberius's fathers chest. before the first drop of blood touched the ground Tiberius charged the creature and his men swinging wildly and unskilled as hard and as and as fast as he could desperately trying to save his father from this evil as Tiberius swung with all his might he took down the first soldier with ease, then the second as he moved closer to the creature he raised his arms in striking stance with all his might he swung. But the creature was to fast and side stepped to the left though missing the creatures head he penetrated the creatures right leg snapping the bones, but the creature simply stood there this man this EVIL OR SOME KIND stood there not even phased from his wound as the Demacian steel lay fresh in its leg in one quick strike he struck Tiberius he was flung of his feet his sword falling to the ground and he into the air landing at the river side. as he lay there dazed and bleeding, the being limped over to him shouting orders to his men to stand down in one swift command "STOP!". As this thing limped over to the river side it placed its self above Tiberius it began to chuckle with a sinister sound. Tiberius bleeding and faint gasped for some air and asked what are you?. the creature leaned inwards its face illuminated by the moons reflection of the river it replied in a whisper "I.. am.. Swain..." as Tiberius began to lose consciousness, he could hear swain mumble as he limped away "another opponent another disappointment"when he awoke the entire village was a flame the devastation and death was to much for him to bear. All around him was burned charred remains not one person could be identified,as he wandered the village in shock he came across a charred remains that seemed peaceful in the way it was burnt laying there flat on its stomach hiding an object under its belly Tiberius got closer prying its hands open Tiberius let out a screaming cry as he relised it was his father protecting the very statue he had made for him that morning. Tiberius swore to himself from that day forward no evil shall walk these lands he would study every ancient art of combat and warfare and never let evil win over good so that one day he can avenge his father
