Briggs, the Bastion of Power

Inspiration: Tim the Tool Man Taylor!

Saying: "Needs more Power!" #Deadly Sin: Greed

#Lore Briggs is a Yordle from Piltover who hungers for Power… Literal Power! (Energy) Briggs is the brother of the now famed Dean of Demolition, Ziggs. Briggs passion is not in the creation or destruction of things, but in the accumulation and the harnessing of power-raw power! If there was one thing that fascinated him most...it had to be - batteries. The ways they stored, charged, and recharged lead him to developing an Energy Core with a seemingly unlimited capacity to store energy. His Energy Core is famed for blacking-out Bandle-City for a week when it was first turned on; draining all energy it could find. His invention proved to be too powerful on its own. Briggs decided to build a suit to harness the power, and possibly... just maybe be able to become one with it… Briggs one day heard rumors of a being made of energy that fights in the League of Legends hailing from Runeterra - Xerath. #“How could there be a being of pure energy” ...he thought to himself…“I need to test the limits of my "Core"... it shall become one with my core…” And with these thoughts Briggs enlisted in the League of Legends.

Briggs is a Brawler Mage that can tank and punish his enemies with the power that he steals from them.

Passive: Energy Core: Briggs contains an energy core that charges with time, and damage received. Energy core charges from 0 to 100 or has Charge Counters. When energy core reaches 100% Briggs’ suit empowers all abilities to be charged to deal more damage or defend against more damage. It will slowly drain after a few moments, if energy is not used or maintained. Additional movement speed granted when 100% energy is initially reached.

Q: Hex-tech Shield: Briggs can activate his shield, which will reduce incoming damage by a certain percentage. Activation of the shield will cost energy stored in the core. Damage received will build a shield around him equal to the damage that was reduced, up to a MAX amount based on level or a stat. (When activating the shield, it could increase Briggs hit box, which could lead to him blocking the hit box of a friendly minion who would be clicked to be attacked. This could work as a gold denial mechanism as long as Briggs stands on the minions’ area. Enemy will be trying to last hit, but will be intercepted.)

Q: Hex-Tech Shield (Ultimate): Creates a shield around Briggs instantly, which scales off of Armor, MR, or AP (not finalized). Briggs gains tenacity, and radiates energy from his suit - burning enemies.

__W: Power Drain: __ Briggs can target a single unit, either Friendly or Enemy. The targets’ HP is drained providing Briggs temporary defensive stat bonuses and energy for his passive. (Gold denial if used on friendly minions). W: Power Drain (Ultimate): W: Power Drain (Ultimate): Energy Core not at 100% Energy beams project from Briggs connecting with the Enemy Champion. The beams cause the enemy champion caught to lose MR and Armor and health, while providing Briggs increased movement speed, defensive stats, and Charges Core to “100% Energy”. W: Power Drain (Ultimate): Energy Core AT 100%: Discharge: Energy beams Project from Briggs to Enemy Champion burning them as long as they do not break the beam by leaving the area of effect. Will drain energy core when activated.

E: Mighty Fist: Pressing E will redirect energy from his Energy Core to his gloves. Dealing increased damage. This ability drains his energy Core. E: Passive: Regular attacks now increase Energy Core’s charges.

E: Mighty Fist (Ultimate): Normal Attacks deal True Damage or Burn-Radiation damage to enemy.

R: UPGRADE: Makes next basic ability free and gives it bonus effects. Reactivate to cancel.

The images included was drawn by my friend Chris Moya. Just a concept design.

I attempted to give him abilities that would help him to deny gold. His increased hit box when his shield was activated seems like a possibility. As well as his ability to drain a minion, denies the last hit. To make sure it isn't spammed, the cool-down could be long in the first few levels.

Let me know of ideas or improvements.

I am horrible with the stat numbers and things like that. His stats should be focused on being able to tanks and hit really hard. He has zero CC and no dashes. He can be seen as an all-in champion. He will charge-up and go at you with all he has. Once his charges are gone he should be more vulnerable, since two of his three abilities require energy to activate.

Riot, please let me know if you need me to actually put numbers down to qualify for the competition.

Please let me know what you think and any areas where I need to improve. For stats, if I absolutely need them, I will emulate Vi's and do some tweeks.
