I have seen everything EXCEPT a black female champ. Can we PLEASE have a few? I mean, we have colorful champs ( Morgana/Soraka) but I'm talking caramel/chocolate skinned ones. I feel like I'm the only person who wants this or who notices.

Well I'm VERY content with the champs we have right now. As I told the person from Riot that I spoke with, I was just curious as to why there are very few, if any, afro centric females (and BTW, he agreed with me and told me to post it here). I don't really consider Karma to be black because she seems more Asian to me. And Nid is probably the closest, considering she gives me an Amazonian feel at a safari, but not necessary black.
This post is in NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM meant to be a racial thing. We are all allowed to form our own opinion and this is mine. If it's turned into one, that's your own fault.
GamerGoodies2 votesI don't think we should really worry about champions in other races, regardless of gender. League's world is alot different then ours. For all we know the term "Black" people is very different in the lore of league.
Besides we got monsters, and goddesses too. There's so many types of champions I don't know why "Black" Females are really needed. Karma and nidalee are already close enough to being dark skinned at least. For all we know kallista might be cause of the way she fights. She probably used to be a darker color I can be very sure of that.

For all you people attacking the OP, read this. When someone requests a champion with a specific ethnicity/gender/social group that they identify with, they don't expect or even want that to be all that champion is. It's kind of understood that people who request champions obviously want a well developed story to go with them. You people just jump on the one aspect and relentlessly attack it into the ground, often with your own subtly racist remarks. We got Illaoi who was a Pacific Islander, and while she has a very distinct ethnicity, she has a well developed personality and story. Then there's the Middle Eastern Taliyah, clearly representative of an Egyptian or Arab, yet she is more than that when the lore is added in. What I'm getting at is these, and many other champions are characters that these groups of people can identify with. That is all the OP wants. I get the impression that she doesn't care if she's a Noxian, a Demacian, or a Ionian, so long as she has the look and feel of someone she can identify with. You people who immediately attack this desire with such nastiness need to leave and take your racism elsewhere, because odds are, you are young, straight, white men who have never been wanting for any character to relate to. Oh, unless you need another Darius, Talon, or Ezreal who just fits your ideals more perfectly, then it's ok for you want a specific champion.

Sorry to disappoint, but I'm not. If we are to have a variety of champs, why can't we have a black female one? Who knew it was sooooo wrong to voice your opinion about something? Who knew being curious was such a crime?

I normally think of what skill set I want a champ to have, then the ideas of how the champ would look comes next. If she sucks, then she sucks. Maybe I just don't know how to use her. And not caring about the color is the reason why most people of my kind are slightly disappointed, but I'm just going to leave that alone. It's not going to hurt my feelings if they don't. I'm still going to play LoL regardless. As I said before, I was just curious.

We do have Shurima(Egypt) though..Why does it have to be a Savanna? Besides LoL Human culture doesn't completely follow real life Human culture, in Runeterra none of the places have a real specific culture to them except Bandle City but even that can change by just adding one none Yordle champ.
Which reminds me I wonder when The Voodoo Lands will have a new champ(Riot, Please Resurrect Tabu) other than Annie?

So, as of right now, there is no where on Runeterra that could suitably host a people of very dark completion.

Actually the Egyptian skin lightened when they mixed with the Romans/Greeks, older hieroglyphics shows Egyptians was darker than started to lightened through the times when they met the Romans/Greeks, like how Romans and Greeks have some darker skin people in their culture.
Can you also explain the Egyptians facial features?
Like it Or Not, Egypt started out as an African tribe and was an African Civilization.
So who is to say that one of the Ascendants might have a darker skin tone or some of the Shurima tribes are dark skinned? It's Runeterra, a fantasy place where things doesn't need to be exactly like real life.

I'm not saying there shouldn't be a champion with dark skin, I'm just saying that from a biological and geographical perspective, they would either have to be ancient Sharuman's, who didn't turn into a giant animal, or come from another country with large savannas, the only two champions who are from another country are Illaoi, who is basically Hawaiian, and Olaf, who is basically from Greenland.
I could see a black champion from a far away land with weird but futuristic technology, like Wakandans from the Marvel universe.

I'm so sick of comments of people who can't relate being butt hurt about someone pointing out the lack of diversity in the game.
It's nice to have representation. I love playing league but sometimes seeing how there's a lack of champs that are black reminds me of how racist the world is and that even in game world it follows.
People are mad because bringing this up makes them uncomfortable.
KARMA isn't black, just like overwatch they are just using a dark skin Indian girl and using her a a safety net for dark skin girls it's kinda gross tbh and she is a forgotten champ when it comes to skins ect.
