Will we ever get snowdown events back

So with Christmas getting near and such i started thinking about the old snow rift and how riot had cool runes, changed the pots to look like Christmas drinks and the sick rift. In the past 2-3 years tho i haven't seen riot do much other than a gangplank event and maybe a thing here and there. I kind of feel like they don't care and the just want to take all our money. I mean back in the day there where plenty of events and now if we get 2 a year we are lucky. So do you guys think we will ever get another snowdown or other events back
