Inaias The Scourge of Icathia
Inaias was once the proud ruler of the faction of Icathia. Slowly getting corrupted by the void's energy, he began channelling the power of two World Runes to keep the void at bay. The corruption halted until the Rune Wars, when Noxus heard of the two runes powering the city, protecting it from the void. Invasion after invasion failed, but this sapped the power of the World Runes greatly. deciding he couldn't bear to watch his beautiful nation crumble, Inaias gave his life to the World Runes, his soul absorbed into the magical energy keeping both the armies of noxus and the void at bay. All this changed when a mage known as Ryze arrived at the city. Wanting peace, he used his powers to bind the two runes, returning their power to the aetherspace. As the few mages of Noxus notified their commanders of the rune's disappearance, they called off the invasion, but that did not stop the void. As the Runes were bound, reality itself tore, the terrible power of the void breaking through the fabric of runeterra. From the ashes of the now ruined Icathia, a humanoid figure rose. Inaias gazed upon the scenes of death, the ruined city he had once commanded. Using the Magical energy stored inside him from his time in the aetherspace, and the remnants of two world runes, he vowed to cleanse the world of the abominations of the void, and use its power to seal all of the World Runes away for good.
Base Stats: [WIP] Rescource: All-Maker's might [x/100]
Abilities:
Passive: World Runes World Rune: All-Maker's Might: Inaias does not use mana, instead using a purple rescource bar known as All-Maker's Might. This bar is filled up by spellcasts and killing enemy units. Spellcasts will grant different amoutns per spell, minion takedowns grant 10 and Champion kills/assists restore 75. When the bar is full, Casting a spell will cause Inaias to infuse his World Rune Fragments, gaining 10/20/30% Spellvamp, 20/50/80 AP, and 40% Movement Speed. During this state, All-Maker's Might will decay at a rate of 10 per second. While infused, All-Maker's Might can only be gained by killing an enemy champion. World Rune: AetherWarp: If Two tears exist on top of one another, they warp to form an Infused Tear, refreshing their duration and dealing a burst of 60/100/140 (+60% AP) Magic Damage and slowing by 50%. Gain 10 All-Maker's might whenever an Infused Tear is formed.
All-Maker's Might and AetherWarp upgrade at levels 8 and 16
Q: Aether Tear All-Maker's Might gained: 30 Cooldown: 8/7/6/5/3 Inaias warps reality at the target location, dealing 50/70/90/110/130 (+50% AP) Magic Damage in an Area after a .4 second delay and placing a tear. The_ tear_ lasts for 3/3.25/3.5/3.75/4 Seconds
W: Ethereal Corridor All-Maker's Might gained: 30 on-cast Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 Inaias dashes forward briefly in a quick, non-interrup-table cast time lasting 0.3 seconds(Think Ezreal E/ Lux R/ Trist W) before blinking to the target location, leaving a pair of linked tears, one at the position you were before the blink and one after. You can walk on top of the tears to blink to the paired tear (Think Rek'Sai tunnel, but a blink instead). A 6/5/4/3/2 Second cooldown per blinks, cooling down 1.3x slower when in combat with enemy champions. Inaias' E Void Pulse can travel through Inaias' linked tears. Traveling through the ethereal corridor grants 15 All-Maker's might. If cast during Aetherstep, the cast animation will instead be back-loaded, with a brief dash-cast animation after taking the portal.
E: Void Pulse All-Maker's Might gained: 30 Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 Inaias fires out a pulse of void energy, dealing 50/60/70/80/90 (+30% AP) and slowing the first enemy hit. If it comes into contact with a tear (Linked tears not included) it reactivates, imploding the tear into an Infused Tear and dealing World Rune: AetherWarp's damage to all enemies near the Tear and stunning all enemies hit by the implosion damage. This skillshot can travel through Inaias' Ethereal Corridor. If a tear is imploded into an Infused Tear, gain 25 All-Maker's might instead of AetherWarp's usual 10.
R: Aetherstep
Cooldown: 70/50/30
Inaias creates a rift and jumps into it, entering the Aetherspace. While inside the Aetherspace, Inaias can reactivate Aetherstep to create a tear and jump through it, re-entering Runeterra.
While inside the Aetherspace, Inaias takes the form of a translucent pink silhouette. In this form, he is untargetable but unable to do any action outside of the following:
Cast Summoner Spells
Cast W - Ethereal Corridor
Additionally, he gains 70% Bonus Movement speed, reduced to 20% when nearby visible enemy champions.
Reactivate Aetherstep to re-enter runeterra.
Upon Reactivating Aetherstep, Inaias' All-Maker's Might bar is completely filled. This does not infuse your world runes. Aetherstep can only be cast after being out of combat with enemy champions for 6/4/2 Seconds (-0.1 Second for every 50 Bonus AP) (Minimum 0.5 Seconds out of combat)
A WIP champ concept I came up with recently. The goals I ahd were:
- To create a champion that draws power from the World Runes
- To create an Icathian champion to provide more lore for the lost city
- To have a mobile battlemage who's mobility revolves around tears
Moreover, the ultimate makes for an effective scouting mage. Please tell me what is good and bad about this champion concept, I am looking for feedback to try and make this guy balanced :)
