Where to grab a new idea

I know LoL is a serious game, until you get down to skins and in game character animations and jokes.... Even though new characters come out everyfew months i always feel that they are nothing short of what could be expected....... I mean, apart from khazixcs (sorry i forget how to spell) no champion truly goes to final form like it should. I have been watching Kill La Kill, and this anime has great transformations that are subtle, but also ludicrus like many lol champions. You have free reign to make some amazing champions.... you could exactly make those from kill la kill... its all about balance but you seem to have cornered yourselves into a mode that is based on past champion skills delivered in a different way instead of making new champs, totally new....! Take examples from elsewhere, dont always look to what you have already created for new ideas... you can see in this sentence that is limited.
